For those of you hoping to play the upcoming Middle-Earth: Shadow of Warr on your Switch, it seems you’ll have slay Orcs and Uruk-Hai elsewhere. In an interview with GameSpot, creative Vice President of Monolith Productions Michael de Plater said that the studio currently has “no plans” to bring the title to the Nintendo Switch at this time.
GP: You’ve confirmed Xbox Scorpio and PS4 Pro support. But can you get this on the Switch?
VP: No plans for the Switch at this time.
Unfortunate, but one can always hope that the game will be ported in the future.

Nintendo Spotlight: E3 2017 should be at least a half hour long
Posted on 7 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in General Nintendo, News, Switch | 37 Comments
Nintendo Spotlight: E3 2017 will be hosted on June 13. With the video presentation, we’ll be given a look at Super Mario Odyssey and other upcoming Switch games.
You can set a reminder for the Nintendo Spotlight by adding the event to your calendar through the official website. When doing so, Nintendo fills in an hour-long slot. However, this doesn’t necessarily mean that the presentation will last an hour since calendars tend to work with 30-minute increments. You can at least expect it to be 30 minutes long.
For reference, Nintendo’s E3 2015 presentation was just over 48 minutes. The 2014 edition was about 47 minutes.

Splatoon 2: More screenshots of the unicycle-riding Octarian

The official Splatoon 2 Twitter account has given us another look at the infamous unicycle-riding Octarian that first appeared in the recent trailer. Judging by these new screenshots, it seems like he can use his giant Roller in a variety of ways – he can swing it like a sword or use it like a steamroller to chase after you. The Twitter post doesn’t confirm this, but the fact that you’re fighting him in a circular arena seems to suggest that he will be one of the bosses in Hero Mode, or at the very least a mini boss. His Japanese name could roughly be translated as “octopus samurai”.

Switch eShop listing says you’ll be able to try out all ten fighters in ARMS Global Testpunch
Posted on 7 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Switch | 14 Comments
What we’ve heard within the past few days indicated that the ARMS Global Testpunch will include seven playable characters. Everyone aside from Kid Cobra, Byte & Barq, and Twintelle were thought to be available. Based on fresh information though, these fighters might be in after all.
Have a look at this listing from the eShop:
The listing clearly states that all ten fighters will be in ARMS Global Testpunch. It also highlights the inclusion of local multiplayer, Hoops mode, and connecting online for exhibition matches.
We should note that this eShop listing isn’t official confirmation. We’ll try to get a response from Nintendo, but we should have a definitive answer soon as ARMS Global Testpunch begins in less than a week.
