A third batch of weapon trailers have come in from Capcom for Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak, this time detailing the Charge Blade, Bow, and Gunlance weapons. The Charge Blade gains a new stance that blends sword and axe mode together, whilst the Bow gains a new ability that increases damage if the same spot is hit repeatedly. Finally, the Gunlance gets a new, close range ability that unleashes all of its ammo at once for massive damage.

kirby 64 comparison

Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards just debuted on Nintendo Switch Online, and we now have a look at how this version compares to the N64 original and Wii U Virtual Console release courtesy of GameXplain. Switch vs. N64 is shown first, followed by Switch vs. Wii U.

Like all Nintendo Switch Online classics, Kirby 64 now has the highest resolution possible. And while Wii U made things darker, the brightness is more true to the original on Switch.

A Monster's Expedition + Earlier Adventures

iam8bit has announced A Monster’s Expedition + Earlier Adventures, a new physical release containing four games. Copies should ship in Q3 2022.

A Monster’s Expedition, Sokobond, Cosmic Express, and A Good Snowman is Hard to Build will all be offered on a single  physical cartridge. On top of that, each copy will include a number of physical extras.

LEGO Star Wars The Skywalker Saga update

The first update for LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is now available. The version number is 1.0.4, and it’s live on the Switch eShop for download.

The team at TT Games has implemented various fixes related to stability, quality, progression, and performance issues. Specific fixes have also been added.

My Nintendo Nintendo Switch Sports Spocco Square cooling towel

Pokemon Sword Shield Shellder

A new Max Raid Battle has kicked off in Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield, which puts the focus on Shellder.

This is a pretty straightforward event without any gimmicks. Shellder will simply be showing up more often while it’s active. Also, if players are lucky enough, they may encounter a shiny version of the Pokemon.

Today, Outright Games announced that a new Justice League title is in development for Switch. It’s set to launch sometime in 2023.

Outright Games is keeping quiet about much of the specifics, but has confirmed that “the game is going to be a big action adventure with some of the most iconic super heroes on the planet”. Fans will be able “to play as some of the most iconic Justice League members as you take on some of the most powerful villains in the DC universe.” As far as the targeted audience, “it’s going to be a great one for older family and friends to join in”.

Star Trek Prodigy Supernova release date

Star Trek Prodigy: Supernova was revealed for Switch last month, but we didn’t have much in the way of details. Publisher Outright Games and developer Tessera Studio followed up today with a proper announcement.

Star Trek Prodigy: Supernova is based on the original Paramount+ animated series Star Trek: Prodigy. Find the first details below. 

Publisher Outright Games and developer 3D Clouds announced today that PAW Patrol: Grand Prix is heading to Switch. The title is planned for a September 30, 2022 release.

This is the fourth PAW Patrol game from Outright following PAW Patrol: On a Roll!, PAW Patrol Mighty Pups: Save Adventure Bay, and PAW Patrol The Movie: Adventure City Calls. This new entry is a kart racer that will have players driving around in vehicles from the popular TV show.
