Each one of the Disney Infinity games have featured something known as the “ultimate unlock”. These are special rewards available to those who collect all of the related figures.

At the D23 Expo, it was revealed that Disney Infinity 3.0’s ultimate unlock is none other than the Keyblade from Kingdom Hearts. There are also 5,000 Kingdom Hearts costume change power discs being distributed to attendees, which will never be sold in stores.

We have another quick look at the Super Mario Maker idea booklet included with the game. See it in the video below.

Thanks to Jake for the tip.

Off-screen footage is available showing the Scooby Doo level in LEGO Dimensions. Check it out in the video below.

We have an image of another amiibo costume included in Super Mario Maker. Above, you can get a first look at the silver Mario outfit (which may also feature the Super Mario 64 finishing jingle if a Miiverse post is to be believed). The gold Mario figure works as well, but we don’t have any screenshots of it just yet.

Thanks to Anthony for the tip.

Super Mario Maker’s pre-load went live on the North American Wii U eShop a few days ago. Even if you decide the purchase the game digitally, you’re still entitled to a physical copy of the idea booklet. And claiming your copy is actually very simple.

After buying Super Mario Maker on the eShop, you’ll find a toll-free number to call on your receipt. Hit up that number and explain why you’re calling. After you give Nintendo your Wii U serial number (which is also on the receipt), email, name, and address, an order will be created and the booklet will be sent out when they become available.

Note that this offer is only valid in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.

Splatoon has now added a new mode: Rainmaker. This can be played in the Ranked Battle playlist alongside Splat Zones and Tower Control.

As a reminder, here’s what Rainmaker is all about:

In Rainmaker, both teams compete to snag the, uhhh, Rainmaker. Once you’ve got it, the goal is to carry it into the other team’s base!

How’s it work, you ask? As soon as the battle begins, grab onto that Rainmaker! It’s guarded by a shield, though, so you’ll need to bust it out first. Once you snag it, head for the other team’s base. And be quick about it!

If you run out of time or get splatted, the Rainmaker will be dropped and its shield will also reactivate. The Rainmaker is crazy heavy, so you can’t Super Jump while carrying it. Hopefully your teammates will watch your back!

But don’t think the Rainmaker is just some shiny object – it can shoot ink like an Inkzooka. You can even hold to charge the Rainmaker up for an extra-powerful shot! The closer you get to the enemy base while holding the Rainmaker, the lower your goal distance will drop. If you retreat too far while holding the Rainmaker, it’ll explode sooner! If the battle ends without anyone carrying the Rainmaker to the goal, the team with the lowest goal distance will win.
