Bravely Second: End Layer

Several years after the franchise’s absence, Square Enix is finally returning to the Bravely series. Bravely Default II marks the first entry on Switch, and will launch later in 2020.

In an interview with Famitsu, producer Tomoya Asano spoke about the last title, Bravely Second, and had some interesting words to share. Asano actually apologized for the 3DS title since he feels some aspects “didn’t meet the many expectations fans had.”

Asano mentioned, as translated by DualShockers:

Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition - Collector's Set

The Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition Collector’s Set, which previously sold out on Amazon Germany, is now available again. Consumers can pre-order the special release here. Shipping to the United States isn’t an option, so this one is pretty much just for our friends in Germany.

Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition launches May 29.

Last week, Nintendo said that Switch shipments had been delayed in Japan. Consoles would only be available to those that had placed pre-orders. If you hadn’t reserved one, you’d be pretty much out of luck for the week.

Thankfully, the situation seems to be improving. Nintendo just announced that Switch shipments (including the Switch Lite) have resumed. The recent Animal Crossing: New Horizons bundle is also expected to be properly restocked by the end of April.
