Publisher PQube and developer The GentleBros have provided an update on the action-adventure game Cat Quest II. It’ll launch on Switch this fall, the two sides confirmed today.

Torchlight 2 is landing on consoles in just a couple of weeks. Each platform will have an exclusive pet, and now we know what’s in store for the Switch version.

Those who play Torchlight 2 on Nintendo’s console will be able to access the Pet Unicorn, publisher Perfect World Entertainment and developers Runic Games and Panic Button Games revealed during today’s Indie World Showcase. There will also be a Pet Yapper as a pre-purchase bonus.

Torchlight 2 launches for Switch on September 3. View a trailer below.

As previously announced, Nintendo is hosting a brand new Indie World Showcase today that will cover upcoming indie titles for Switch. The roughly 20-minute presentation goes live at 6 AM PT / 9 AM ET / 2 PM in the UK / 3 PM in Europe.

You can watch the Indie World Showcase as it happens below. We’ll have our own posts going up while the broadcast is airing. Stay tuned for additional coverage after the show, as well as further news from Gamescom 2019 this week.

Publisher Kalypso Media and developer Realmforge Studios today announced Spacebase Startopia, a game in which you’ll “manage your very own space station, maintaining the three unique deck types, accommodating eight different alien races and defending against enemy invaders while also contending with the station’s sharp-witted and sarcastic narrator AI, VAL.” It will arrive on Switch in Q3 2020.
