Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 turned out to be a fairly standard entry in the Nintendo x SEGA crossover sports series, but it seems that the original plan for the game was originally much grander.
Tons of additional franchises and IPs were apparently going to be added. There was interest in including “Pokemon, Street Fighter, Mega Man, Dragon Ball, Metal Gear Solid, Sonic Family, Mario Family, Zelda some Sony and Microsoft properties / characters.”
Biomorph secures Nintendo Switch physical release

Limited Run Games has teamed up with Lucid Dreams Studio on a Nintendo Switch physical release for Biomorph, the company has announced.
Only a standard version is planned at this time. However, each copy comes with an eight-page booklet as a bonus.

GameMill is set to publish Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer on Nintendo Switch, the company announced today. The game is due out this holiday.
Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer is a new 3D platforming game made by Headless Chicken Games. Players will head on a quest to save Christmas.

New data from Circana gives us a look at the best-selling games of June 2025 specifically on Nintendo platforms.
The first wave of Nintendo Switch 2 games are here. Unsurprisingly, Mario Kart World tops the list. Behind it is Cyberpunk 2077. Other notable titles include Street Fighter 6 at #6 and Bravely Default: Flying Fairy HD Remaster at #9.

Atelier Yumia announces Tekken 8 crossover [update: out today, new trailer]

March 20: Today, Koei Tecmo and Gust revealed that it’s working with Bandai Namco on a Tekken 8 crossover for Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land with new DLC.
The collaboration will involve costumes, special skills, and accessories which. Everything will be available for free in the future. Beyond that, specifics have not been shared. A special piece of art was released from artist Benitama, showing Yumia and the mysterious fighter Reina from Tekken 8.

Deltarune 1.03 update out now, patch notes

Deltarune players can now access the game’s latest update through version 1.03. This patch is rolling out now on both Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch.
Once again, we’re seeing a bunch of adjustments and fixes. Version 1.04 is also in the works and should be coming soon, but currently we don’t have information as to what’s included.

There’s yet another collaboration happening in Minecraft, and this time it’s the Smurfs joining in the action.
The DLC is highlighted by a new adventure. Players will dodge Azrael in stealth challenges, race to the finish in parkour challenges, outsmart Gargamel in a potion battle, and rescue the captured Smurfs. You’re also free to explore the Smurf Village and even customize your Smurf.

Hauntii set for Nintendo Switch physical release

Lost In Cult unveiled its next Nintendo Switch physical release today, which is for Hauntii.
Fans can choose between a standard edition and limited edition, with the latter only having 3,000 units. It features a collectible mailer box with seasonally-rotated illustrations, essay and developer interview booklet, original outer slipcase and box artwork, poster, color-thematic inner slipcase with release number code, fold-out unique artwork poster with checklist and artist description on the back, four art cards chosen from the developer with captions, director’s authenticity card (individually numbered), and variant game case cover with reverse artwork.
