Fire Emblem Engage, the next mainline entry in the Fire Emblem series, is starting to reveal pre-order bonuses. We’ll be using this guide to keep you updated about reservations as well as goodies as they are announced.
This time around, a major mechanic allows players to team up with heroes from past Fire Emblem games including Marth and Celica. They can be summoned with the power of Emblem Rings, and their power will be added to yours. With the Engaging mechanic, appearances are merged plus you can inherit weapons, skills, and more from the legendary characters. Of course, the turn-based, tactical battle system Fire Emblem is known for is back.
Sea of Stars launches next summer

Original (12/23): Sabotage Studio has provided a slightly more specific release window for Sea of Stars, confirming that the RPG is on track for Summer 2023.
The game was already confirmed for next year as of a few months ago. However, this is the first time we’re hearing about it coming out during the summer.

The newest update for Melty Blood: Type Lumina has now gone live, bringing the game up to version 1.4.1. The update, which was released last year for other platforms and has now finally been brought to Switch, fixes some issues with the two latest characters to be added to the game, as well as some other general bug fixes. N64 icons on the way to Nintendo Switch Online

Original (10/20): Nintendo is planning a new round of Nintendo Switch Online icons based on the N64, the company has revealed.
The promotion kicks off on November 2, 2022. Icons can be redeemed exclusively for subscribers of the Expansion Pack tier.
November will feature Super Mario 64, The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask, and Kirby 64. It’ll be followed by The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, F-Zero X, and Yoshi’s Story in December. Finally, January will have Mario Kart 64, Star Fox 64, and Paper Mario. Everything will wrap up by February 3, 2023.

New data has been published that reveals the best-selling games in the UK for 2022, and we also know that Switch was the best-selling console of the year.
Nintendo only has one game in the top ten (physical and digital combined) – that being Nintendo Switch Sports. However, had the sales of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet been combined, they would have appeared higher. The new Pokemon titles did see a 36 percent increase over Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. Also keep in mind that Nintendo does not report digital data, which limits how high the company’s games chart.

Today, the Goblin Slayer 2 Production Committee announced Goblin Slayer Another Adventurer: Nightmare Feast. It will be available on Switch in the future, but a release window hasn’t been shared.
Goblin Slayer Another Adventurer: Nightmare Feast will feature an original story. Additionally, English support is confirmed alongside Japanese.
Goblin Slayer is a dark fantasy light novel series that has seen a manga adaptation as well as an anime adaptation. The franchise began in 2016.

After taking off a few days for the holidays, Nintendo and Intelligent Systems are again introducing characters for Fire Emblem Engage, and we now have a look at Micaiah. The official Japanese Twitter account posted the news and SatsumaFS shared translations.
Micaiah is another one of the game’s returning heroes. She’s known as the Emblem of Dawn and has mysterious powers of healing, foresight and more.
