Abathor “Ultimate Edition” update out now, patch notes – Speedrun Mode and more

Abathor has announced and released a brand new Ultimate Edition update, bringing along new features and improvements such as a Speedrun Mode.
Other than that new addition, a new handcrafted map is included that’s displayed in pixel art. Other elements include the ability for characters to run, balanced difficulty, and tuned progression.

Glover announces update with various improvements, patch notes

A new update has been announced for the recently-released Nintendo Switch version of Glover. The patch goes live on April 23, 2025.

Koei Tecmo has released the first free update for the title Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land, and it is out today.
The update includes selectable music from Atelier Resleriana, a special items set, and new items for Photo Mode.

The Croc: Legend of the Gobbos remaster has received its first update, with a couple issues reported by the community now being fixed.
The Nintendo Switch version specifically moved the physical position of the jump, 180 degree flip, and attack to match the how the original game controlled, as well as how the other platforms control.

A new version 1.0.9 update recently started distribution for Front Mission 2: Remake.
The game has received improvements to localization, UI, gameplay balance, and overall stability. Of course, this naturally includes some bug fixes, too.

High On Life will have a Nintendo Switch physical release

High On Life will be making its Nintendo Switch debut very soon, and we now have confirmation that a physical release is planned. Limited Run Games shared the news today.
High On Life will be available standalone, meaning there won’t be any special editions. However, Limited Run Games is also offering Kenny glow-in-the-dark plush.
Dokapon: Sword of Fury for Switch just received a surprise English release on Nintendo Switch in the west

Out of nowhere, Dokapon: Sword of Fury has just launched on Nintendo Switch in the west.
The remaster of the PlayStation game first came to Japan last August. There’s been no word on an English release, so today’s news certainly comes as a surprise. The title originally released in 1998.

Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound reveals Kumori

Kumori will be fully playable in Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound, it’s been announced. She’ll be present right alongside Kenji Mozu, who was shown as part of the initial reveal a few months ago.
Kumori is a member of the antagonistic Black Spider Clan, which is central to the series. Her fighting style forgoes traditional rules to emerge victorious from battle by any means necessary. Kumori uses modern weaponry and demonic sources of power to reach her goals and brave challenges unique to her story.

Nintendo Switch 2 backwards compatibility list [update: news for two games]

April 2: Nintendo has provide a new Nintendo Switch 2 backwards compatibility list, which outline which games aren’t compatible with Switch 1.
As of now there’s just one title identified as fully nonfunctional – that being Nintendo Labo Toy-Con 04: VR Kit. Nintendo has also outlined games that need a Nintendo Switch Joy-Con, titles that start up but have issues, and ones with flat-out start up problems.
