Earlier this year, Young Horses commented on the possibility of Octodad: Dadliest Catch for Wii U. The company mentioned in one tweet that there were no plans, but in another, the studio said: “We’re not sure to be honest.”

We followed up with Young Horses last month and once again asked if Octodad is something that could happen on Wii U. The company’s president and community manager Phil Tibitoski basically gave us the same answer: a decision is still being made.

Tibitoski’s full comments are as follows:

With more and more Kickstarter campaigns popping up these days, it would be tough to cover them all without overloading the site. And thus, the Kickstarter roundup was born! We’ll be posting these each weekend (assuming I don’t forget… haha) so that we can bring the latest Kickstarter efforts to your attention.

Ray’s the Dead – already funded at $30,000, Wii U stretch goal at $65,000
Elysian Shadows – already funded at $150,000, Wii U stretch goal at $250,000
Adventures of Pip – $40,000 for funding, planned for Wii U
Stash: No Loot Left Behind – $50,000 for funding, planned for Wii U
Nefarious – $50,000 for funding, planned for Wii U
Super World Karts – $16,000 for funding, Wii U stretch goal at $32,000

Note that this is kind of a work-in-progress thing, so expect these types of posts to evolve over time!

Rock’N Racing Off Road is nearly complete. According to EnjoyUp Games, development is 90 percent complete.

Armillo’s patch 1.1 has gone live in North America. As previously mentioned, it addresses frame rate issues and problems pertaining to 100 percent completion.

The wait for Armillo’s patch in Europe will be a bit longer. Fuzzy Wuzzy Games will provide “updates on that build as they come.”
