River City: Ransom met its Kickstarter funding goal last month, but the campaign missed out on various console stretch goals. So what does that mean for potential Wii U and 3DS versions?

Good news: both systems are still up for consideration. Producer Daniel Crenna told Red Bull UK that the company will self-fund additional platforms for release.

Crenna said:

We are looking at options for additional funding if we think we need more fuel to ensure we meet our goals, and to self-fund additional platforms we didn’t hit in our stretch goals.

Paradise Lost: First Contact has a chance of coming to Wii U. If the Kickstarter manages to reach $250,000 in funding, it’ll be guaranteed a release on Nintendo’s platform. There would be plans to offer specific controls for the GamePad.

Paradise Lost: First Contact features side-scrolling stealth, puzzles, and even a tinge of horror. The Kickstarter campaign itself needs to reach $70,000 in order to be funded. It’ll have until December 1 to do so.

You can donate to the campaign here.

Nintendo has finally released Wii Fit U as an eShop download today. You can download the software and keep it free for 31 days. Balance Board owners can then obtain the full experience, permanently, by picking up the Fit Meter for $20.

Now, how big a download is Wii Fit U? It’ll vary between regions, but you’ll need roughly 3,522MB of space on your system or hard drive.
