Since the Wii came out, Nintendo has launched two additional consoles. You’d think that Wii software would have stopped selling at this point, but that’s not actually the case.
Nintendo reported its latest financial results today, including data collected between July and September. That information comes with some interesting news about the sales of one Wii game in particular. During the quarter, Mario Kart Wii sold another 40,000 copies.
Even though we’re long past the Wii at this point, there are still people out there picking up new copies of the racer. Its total sales now sit at 37.14 million units.

Yosuke Saito, who previously was a producer, indicated that there’s interest in making an offline version of Dragon Quest X during the Super Dragon Quest X TV Fall Festival 10-Hour Special 2018 broadcast. He said:

Dragon Quest X is still a possibility for the west
Posted on 6 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS, News, Switch, Wii, Wii U | 0 comments
Dragon Quest X is one of the few recent entries in the series that has not left Japan. The MMORPG first appeared on Wii in 2012, and has since landed on Wii U, 3DS, and Switch.
Many fans have given up on the possibility of a localization at this point, but Square Enix isn’t ruling out the idea entirely. Actually, Dragon Quest XI producer Yuu Miyake told Game Informer that the team wants to bring it stateside, though the five-year plan of service would need to be rearranged.
