Rodea: The Sky Soldier confirmed for North America and Europe, out this fall

Update: NIS America’s PR doesn’t mention it, but the Wii version will apparently be brought over as well. Perhaps as a first-print bonus like Japan?
Rodea: The Sky Soldier is heading to North America and Europe. At its annual press event today, NIS America revealed that the company will be publishing Kadokawa Games and Prope’s title overseas. A release is planned for the fall.
NIS America intends to distribute Rodea: The Sky Soldier both physically and digitally. Additionally, both versions will be brought over – Wii U and 3DS.

What’s shown in blue represents first week sales. Red is for the other weeks. Combining them provides total sales.

Information about Ubisoft and High Voltage Software’s canned Heroes game

Ubisoft announced that it would publish a game based on the television series Heroes back in 2007. A year later, the project was cancelled. Unseen64 now shares details about the development process and why the plug was pulled.
The third-person action/adventure Heroes game was planned for Wii and other platforms, with High Voltage Software handling development. It appears that a new female character would be featured – as shown in the concept art above. Regarding the Wii version, Unseen64 states: “A version for Nintendo Wii was also outlined, but production on it was never started.”
High Voltage terminated the Heroes game after it was determined that the studio didn’t have enough resources to create versions for all platforms. Ubisoft ended up scrapping all plans pertaining to Heroes around October 2008. This was in part due to a drop in ratings for the TV show.

Activision has sold over 240 million Skylanders toys

Skylanders has continued to perform well since the original game – Spyro’s Adventure – launched in 2011. Activision confirmed in its financial results today that more than 240 million toys have been sold.
It’s worth mentioning that sales have dipped slightly over the past few years. Activision sold only 20 million toys in 2011, but moved 80 million units in 2012. That number then decreased to 75 million in 2013, and 65 million in 2014.
