Last year’s Need for Speed game, Most Wanted, landed on Wii U earlier this year as a late (but impressive) port. The same can’t be said of this year’s release, Rivals.

Rivals’ non-appearance on Wii U can be attributed to one reason: sales. Creative director Craig Sullivan provided the TSA with the following explanation regarding the decision to leave the platform out of the mix this year:

Wondering who the final assassins of Batman: Arkham Origins are? Head past the break for a couple of off-screen shots showing the two characters’ bios.

You could argue that it’d be tougher to break a 2DS than a 3DS or 3DS XL. After all, unlike its counterparts, Nintendo’s latest handheld iteration lacks a hinge.

Still, the 2DS’ screens are a bit vulnerable. There is no clamshell design, so they’re always exposed.

Let’s say you were to break the system’s screens. How much would a fix cost?

One unlucky girl recently found her system destroyed after dropping it down a flight of concrete stairs, causing the screens to break entirely. Nintendo offered to provide a fix for $65 (not to mention a shipping and handling fee).

So remember: be extra careful with the 2DS… or you may end up having to pay of the system’s cost for Nintendo to fix/replace the screens!

Elemental-Labs has pulled the plug on Reborn’s Kickstarter. However, there are plans for a relaunch next month.

In a Kickstarter update, Elemental-Labs explained, “after thinking about our Kickstarter campaign and talking to backers regarding our reward levels and various other requests for ports including our stretch goals, we really want to consider a relaunch of REBORN with many things about our campaign corrected and refined.”

Reborn’s next Kickstarter will include items such as a behind-the-scenes motion capture session, gameplay sneak-peak of the menu system, HUD, and combat/combo system, rewards restructure, and improved stretch goals.
