February 25: Hamster has given the early word on this week’s Arcade Archives game on Nintendo Switch, which is Dead Connection. It will be available worldwide on February 27, 2025.

Taito was behind the game originally, which launched in 1992. The single-screen shooter is about a group of detectives who set out to fight a crime family.

In Japan, Nintendo just announced its increasing the costs for Switch repairs. The company cited the “rising prices of repair parts” for the move.

The Nintendo Switch OLED model, standard Switch, and Switch Lite are all impacted. The price depends on the type of repair that’s required. As one example, for the Nintendo Switch OLED display, there’s a price increase happening from 11,000 yen to 12,100 yen. We also see that repairs relating to the Joy-Con are going up from 2,200 yen to 2,860 yen.

SteamWorld Heist 2 initially debuted digitally on Nintendo Switch, but a physical release is now on the way as well. That’s based on retailers from retailers – and pre-orders are live.

For those that are new to the series, SteamWorld Heist 2 is Thunderful’s tactical turn-based shooter. The first entry first came to Nintendo 3DS at the end of 2015 and is also available on Nintendo Switch.

Ashwood Valley is a pixel art farming game with a magical twist. Throughout the adventure, you’ll play as a kid trying to save their sibling from being permanently transformed into a fluffy feline.

A rating for the game was just spotted today in Singapore. Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 has been rated for various platforms in the region, including Nintendo Switch.

Maximum Entertainment will soon release 100 in 1 Game Collection on Nintendo Switch, the company announced today. A release is planned for May 22, 2025.

As the name implies, this is an action-packed compilation of 100 different titles. Multiplayer is fully supported.

Atari and Choice Provisions have now shared the release date for Breakout Beyond. The game, a new take on the brick-breaking classic from the developer of Bit.Trip, lands on Nintendo Switch on March 25, 2025.

This is a pretty quick turnaround from announcement to launch. Atari just announced Breakout Beyond less than a month ago, and now we know that it’s only a few weeks out.
