Thermite Games brought Far Away to Kickstarter recently in hopes of securing translations and ports, including a version for Switch. It’s already been a success with the S$12,000 goal having been met. With a bit over two weeks ago, the attention now shifts to stretch goals that mainly involve some physical and digital goodies.
Thermite Games is publishing Far Away, but the title was originally made by Gratesca. It’s a manga-style visual novel with plenty of choices. Players will find that the game has over 500,000 words, nine storylines, sixteen alternate endings, and over 300 options to choose from.

Ratalaika Games announced today that it’s teaming up with developer Petite Game to publish Bones of Halloween on Switch. The first-person shooter will be available on October 28, 2022.

The company said on social media that Rainmaker was taken out from the rotation in Anarchy Battle. This is due to a bug that can cause the score counter to immediately go to one when touching a checkpoint. Thankfully Nintendo is on the case, and an update will be distributed soon to address the situation. The company also apologized for any inconvenience caused.
A new Pokemon Home update has been released, with the app now at version 2.0.3. Keep in mind that this patch only appears to be available on mobile and not on Switch.

A new update has just gone live for Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R, bringing the game to version 1.3. This is a hefty update, not only making adjustments to general mechanics such as attacks on downed opponents or trap commands, but also making character-specific changes for nearly the entire cast. There are also changes being made to the rules in online matchmaking and new gallery items, glossary terms, customization options, and a new paid DLC character being added to the game.

Granzella has announced a new title in the form of R-Type Tactics I • II Cosmos, a collection of existing R-Type-themed strategy RPGs. This was announced in the latest issue of Weekly Famitsu, with the game set to launch in 2023.
As the name implies, R-Type Tactics I • II Cosmos will feature remakes of the first two R-Type Tactics games, R-Type Tactics and R-Type Tactics II: Operation Bitter Chocolate. These games were originally PSP titles that released in 2007 and 2009 respectively, with the first R-Type Tactics coming to the West in 2008 under the name R-Type Command, while its sequel remained a Japan-exclusive.
