Ubisoft has essentially confirmed that the new Wii U boxart images are the real deal. Amazon.ca, Target, and GameStop have collectively posted images for Assassin’s Creed III, Just Dance 4, Marvel Avengers, and FIFA 13.
When Ubisoft was asked about the boxart, Ubisoft PR rep Michael Beadle responded with the following:
“Why yes, the Wii U box art you sent is legit; in fact, it’s too legit to quit.”
That’s basically a 99% confirmation right there. The only way this couldn’t be completely confirmed is if Beadle was only responding to the art on the boxart rather than the template.
Thanks to Lars Havnes for the tip.
Famitsu has revealed that Raidou Kuzunoha, who has appeared in a couple of Devil Summoner games, will also be appearing in the 3DS remake of Soul Hackers.
Once players beat Soul Hackers, they’ll be granted access to a new dungeon. Raidou Kuzunoha appears in this area with his cat, Gouto-Douji. A different version of Raidou will also show up – he features a facial scar and even a new voice actor.

It pretty much features the same content as the European site. There are screenshots and trailers to view as well as gameplay details.
You can check out the site here. Remember, the game launches next Tuesday.

The chances of Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo teaming up to make a console are pretty much slim to none. That doesn’t mean that we can’t dream though, right?
Tekken chief Katsuhiro Harada is one such person that would like to see this happen. He believes that having just one system around could open the door to a wide array of different possibilities.
Harada said:
“I think it would be interesting if Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo got together just to make one console. It makes me very happy to think about all the possibilities that could occur because of that.”
Getting all three of these companies to collaborate truly seems impossible. Just think of all of the different roadblocks that could get in the way…
Update: Another test from IGN came in at only 13 minutes. That’s a pretty big difference. Hmm…
Downloading New Super Mario Bros. 2 from the eShop may clock in at close to an hour for most. An initial test done with a US region 3DS and a US game code took 46 minutes to complete.
All things considered, this isn’t a horrible download time. New Super Mario Bros. is 2,725 blocks, which translates to 340MB. Downloading that kind of file size does take time!
