Overlord: Escape from Nazarick has been given a final release date. As announced by publisher Kadokawa Corporation and developer ENGINES, the title will arrive on June 16, 2022.

Overlord: Escape from Nazarick was previously confirmed for 2022 on Switch. However, today is the first time we’re hearing about a concrete date.

Astebros, a 16-bit roguelite with platforming elements, has been confirmed for Switch after receiving full funding on Kickstarter. Neofid Studios managed to raise over €50,000 and the campaign still has several days remaining. It’s worth noting that the project will be appearing on the SEGA Genesis as well.

Astebros lets players control three heroes (knight, ranger, and mage) as they explore a new continent with randomly generated dungeons in a variety of environments. The game loop involves exploring and collecting materials to upgrade equipment. Multiplayer is also fully supported, and the difficulty automatically adjusts when playing with a friend.

Nintendo’s Switch My Way commercial series continues on with two more adverts. This time around, we have videos for Nintendo Switch Sports and Kirby and the Forgotten Land.

Geoff Keighley has just shared some more information on this year’s Summer Game Fest. Specifically, he’s reaffirmed that the event is still planned to take place later this year, and specified that it will occur sometime in June.

He’s also mentioned that he will host a live Kickoff show occurring at the start of the event. As expected, the presentation will feature new announcements and first looks at various gaming properties. Details regarding the event will be available on the official website here, with more information set to be released in the coming weeks.

Original: E3 2022 has already suffered some setbacks, transitioning from what was supposed to be a physical event into a purely digital one. However, it seems like E3 2022 might now be cancelled in its entirety. Several industry members have been reporting that this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo will no longer proceed and is officially cancelled.

This particular account comes from Will Powers, current PR Lead at Razer Inc. and former employee at DeepSilver, PlayStation and Tencent Games. Supposedly, official emails have started being sent out to various companies informing them of the official cancellation of the event. This was corroborated by another well-known industry member, Jeff Grubb, who’s shared his thoughts in the past on E3 2022 being cancelled in its entirety.

Limited Run Games is preparing a physical release for Super Hydorah, the company has announced.

It will be sold only as a collector’s edition – a standard copy is not planned. With the collector’s edition, buyers will be provided with a physical copy with reversible cover, game manual, original soundtrack, arcade cut-out, “making of” book, keychain, and sticker.

The latest update for Among Us just went live, with the game going up to version 2022.3.29. It’s highlighted by the addition of Friends List as well as a Scream collaboration.

Yesterday’s Nintendo Switch Online update brought along Earthworm Jim 2, Dig-Dug II, and Mappy-Land. In addition to that though, a couple of new SP versions have been added for Super Mario World and Super Punch-Out!!

With Super Mario World, players can see a whole new look for the game – the same as it would be after beating the Special World. As for Super Punch-Out!!, the Championship Edition lets players take on every circuit from the start of the game.
