Eight years after the amiibo line kicked off, Nintendo has started to make a change with the packaging, which lets the figures be scanned in the box.
Up until now, previous figures had an NFC blocker included. That meant you’d have to take the amiibo out of the packaging if you wanted to actually use it. For some people that was never a big deal, but there are collectors out there that like keeping the figure in its box.
Niantic has announced that for the first time in Pokemon GO, players will be able to encounter Mega Legendaries, with all new moves, in Pokemon Air Adventures which will introduce Mega Latias and Mega Latios in Mega Raids. The event will be held between Tuesday, May 3, 2022, at 10 AM to Sunday, May 8, 2022, at 7 PM local time.

Super Rare Games, in partnership with Pillow Castle, today revealed plans for a physical release of Superliminal. The first-person puzzle game will have three boxed versions.

Publisher Merge Games and developer Affordable Acquisition confirmed today that Slaycation Paradise, their upcoming inter-dimensional twin-stick shooter, will be sold physically on Switch. Major retailers will be carrying the title.
Slaycation Paradise was announced for Switch last month. This is the first time we’re hearing about a physical version, however.

The Doctor Tour will be the next tour coming to Mario Kart Tour. This tour features both Mario and Luigi in their doctor outfits, and they will be riding around in matching pill karts with flashing pill lights.
Additionally, the next wave of Mii Costumes (wave 5) will go live during this tour, featuring a costume of none other than Wario!
Vanillaware’s upcoming remaster GrimGrimoire OnceMore has received a new trailer. This trailer goes over the battle system that will be featured in the game, and gives an extensive look at features that will affect the combat.
The whole video is in Japanese, but there is a lot of action packed gameplay segments to enjoy as well as some scenes from the story.
