Skullgirls 2nd Encore is out today on Switch. Skybound Games and Lab Zero Games have prepared a new launch trailer, which we have below.
Former Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime may have retired from the company, but he hasn’t stepped away from the limelight entirely. Reggie has been giving lectures and speeches regularly – the latest of which was held at Cornell last night.

The twin-stick shooter Dead End Job is coming to Switch on December 13, publisher Headup and developer Ant Workshop announced today. It’ll be sold as a digital download on the eShop.

A new update for Remothered: Tormented Fathers is now live on Switch. Version 1.1.0 has started distribution, which features improved graphics and more.

The next Spotlight Scout has been announced for Pokemon Masters. It won’t feature a brand-new character though – in this scout, you’ll have a higher chance of getting Brandon & Treecko. Also coming soon is another training event: the Grass-type training event will be ideal for training Grass-type Pokemon. We don’t have exact dates for either of these events yet, but we do know they’ll start on the same day.
Another skill-based Summoning Focus is now available in Fire Emblem Heroes. Heroes with Null Skills features units who have the Null Follow-Up skills. The 5-star focus units are Mareeta: The Blade’s Pawn, Corrin: Dream Prince and Hilda: Idle Maiden. The Summoning Focus will be available until October 30.
Crawl developer Powerhoof has announced that they are developing a new point-and-click adventure game titled The Drifter for Switch.
At this time, no release date has been confirmed for the title, but the developer did state that the game is “a looong way off”. Those interested can visit the official website here, and check out the reveal trailer for the game below.
Cygames has confirmed that the next update for Draglia Lost will go live on October 28th, bringing the game up to Version 1.13.0.
