Super Rare Games today unveiled its first Switch physical release of 2024, which will be Ship of Fools from Team17 and Fika Productions.
4,000 copies will be produced on Switch. You’ll get the cartridge – which includes the Fish and Ships and Great Lighthouse updates – plus a full-color manual, an exclusive sticker, and trading card pack.
December 11: On social media today, it was announced that Reigns: Three Kingdoms will be made available on Switch. It’s currently lined up for early 2024.
Reigns has seen a few entries in the series, including its original release, Her Majesty, and Game of Thrones. The latest title features more strategy gameplay with its card-based swiping mechanic and a new take on Romance of the Three Kingdoms.

December 3: Publisher Soft Source Publishing and developer Digital Happiness are bringing DreadOut 2 to Switch, the companies have announced. A release is scheduled for January 18, 2024.
DreadOut 2 is a third-person horror adventure game in which you play as Linda, a high school student with the ability to sense and see ghosts. More information can be found in the following overview:
Ludogram previously launched Firebird on PC, but a Switch version is happening as well. While we have that confirmation, it’s unclear when the title will hit Nintendo’s console.
For those who haven’t heard of Firebird, it’s a narrative road trip tied to Slavic folklore in an adventure that resembles a traditional tale. As part of the visual novel gameplay, players will “travel to the far north, meet colorful characters, and face the creatures inhabiting these sacred lands.”
July 12: Kyukyoku Tiger-Heli Collection is getting an English release on Switch in the west. In a special live stream event today, Limited Run Games shared the news.
Kyukyoku Tiger-Heli Collection was first revealed for Switch in July 2021, but only for Japan. The package would end up arriving that October. There’s been no word on a western counterpart until now.
Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes – Definitive Edition previously hit the Switch eShop, but it’s now getting a physical release thanks to Limited Run Games.
The company has announced plans for a standard version and deluxe edition. The latter features a poster, pins, and an acrylic standee as extras.
The wait for GRIME on Switch is almost over, as Akupara Games and Clover Bite announced a final release date today. It’s slated for January 25, 2024.
On the same day, players will be able to gain access to the final DLC dubbed Parting Shade. Akupara teases: “Players will conjure all of their might as they face their biggest challenges yet with a new explorable area in GRIME, forcing even the most veteran of metroidvania players to lock-in and fight toe-to-toe with adversity, wrapping up the long hard fought trilogy that is GRIME Definitive Edition.”
EA and Respawn have teamed up with Square Enix on an event for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth in Apex Legends. News about it just dropped at The Game Awards 2023.

Top Racer Collection has been delayed and will not be available this month as previously announced. It’s now planned for March 7, according to QUByte Interactive.
In a statement, the company said the extra time will allow the team “to enhance the experience for everyone and refine all the classic and exclusive modes that will be present in the collection.”
