Amazon started taking pre-orders for Nintendo Switch Online subscriptions a few weeks ago. Other retailers are now following suit.

First up, Best Buy has a 3-month subscription here and 12-month membership here. The same goes for GameStop here and here at 3 months and 12 months respectively.

This week, Nicalis provided a bunch of information about the fighter Blade Strangers, launching on Switch later this month. The game’s various features have been introduced, including Story Mode, Arcade Mode, Mission Mode, Versus Mode, Online Mode, Training Mode, and more.

This summer is a busy one for Devolver Digital on Switch. The company has been delivering new titles over the past few weeks, and also had the big Advanced Gungeons & Dragons update for Enter the Gungeon.

Numizmatic announced Light Fingers for Switch a year ago. Things have been relatively silent since then, but the developer is back with a new trailer – see it below.

Light Fingers will be playable in the Indie Megabooth from August 31 to September 3 at PAX West 2018. Numizmatic is also teasing “a very exciting announcement”.

Nintendo has shared new data revealing the top top 30 most-downloaded Switch games in North America for July 2018. The actual term here is technically “bestselling”, though that doesn’t make too much sense since free-to-play titles are included.

Etrian Odyssey X did pretty well in its first week in Japan. Between August 2 and August 5, the game sold 72,000 copies.

According to Media Create, Etrian Odyssey X sold through 87.57% of its initial shipment in Japan. Had it not been as supply-constrained, it’s possible that it would have sold more.

The last Etrian Odyssey entry, Etrian Odyssey V, sold 93,000 copies in its first week. The sell-through rate for the previous title was 75.84%.

Earlier in the week, Warner Bros. announced Scribblenauts Mega Pack. Scribblenauts Unmasked and Scribblenauts Unlimited are getting released on Switch with new content.

Retailers have started taking pre-orders for the double pack. Amazon has it here while GameStop has it here.
