When the Splatoon 2: Octo Expansion drops, players will be able to play as Octolings in a couple of different ways. Aside from the new single-player campaign, they’ll also be available in multiplayer battles.
Octo Expansion won’t be arriving until this summer. However, thanks to some hacking, they’ve been added in early. Though not entirely complete, a pair of videos show both the male and female versions of the Octolings. You can find both below.
Last October, Dark Horse announced a partnership with Nintendo to produce graphic novels based on ARMS. At the time, it was originally set to debut sometime this fall. Those plans have since been delayed.
Fans were able to pick up the special short story for ARMS as part of Free Comic Book Day yesterday. It advertises the first true graphic novel, which is now apparently due in January 2019. It’s unclear what caused the delay, but hopefully the wait will be worth it.
Splatoon 2 kicked off the first-ever tournament-style Splatfest in North America and Europe this weekend. The event is being held to determine which brother from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise is the ultimate fan-favorite.

In this month’s issue of Nintendo Dream, the Japanese magazine posted its final interview with a couple of the Fire Emblem Warriors developers. Director Hiroya Usuda and producer Yosuke Hayashi stopped by to primarily discuss the Awakening DLC Pack. They also weighed in on the end of DLC, why Darios isn’t playable, and showed some interest in making a sequel.

Gal*Gun 2 recently launched in North America. Very quickly, buyers of the physical version noticed a strange misprint. We’re still not quite sure how it happened, but artwork for Natsume’s Wild Guns Reloaded was included inside the case. PQube is only stating that it was a “printer’s error”.
If you were one of the people affected, you can order a replacement cover. PQube has created a form for consumers to fill out here. Once submitted, you’ll be sent a new cover for free.
