Rising Star Games, Triple Eh?, and Spiral House officially announced today that Lumo is heading to Switch. The game will be distributed both physically and digitally in October.
Here’s an overview of Lumo:
Lumo is a contemporary take on the isometric platform genre that will be enjoyed by anyone looking for an absorbing, challenging, and rewarding adventure. For those who lived through the golden age of video games – the ‘80s and early ‘90s – or familiar with the games and culture from that time, there are numerous salutes to the influential gaming period to be discovered and relished in Lumo. With over 400 rooms across four highly stylized zones, six hidden mini-games and all kinds of wonders to uncover, Lumo is a true voyage of discovery.

Capcom opened the official Switch website for Resident Evil Revelations 1 and 2 today. File sizes for both games are included on the page.
First up, Resident Evil Revelations requires 13GB of free space. Resident Evil Revelations 2 doubles that at 26GB. With the second game, since it won’t fit within Switch’s internal memory, a separate microSD card will be needed if you intend to purchase the game.
The first trailer for Farming Simulator: Nintendo Switch Edition has gone live. We’ve attached the new video below.
Farming Simulator: Nintendo Switch Edition is due out in November.
Vivid Helix officially announced today that its “meditative parallel puzzle game” Semispheres is coming to Switch next week. The game will be available on September 14 in both North America and Europe.
Here’s an overview:
Semispheres is a beautiful, 2D puzzle game, with a gorgeous, synth-led soundtrack by Sid Barnhoorn, composer of Antichamber and The Stanley Parable, that places dual realities at the heart of its challenge. Featuring a bichromatic art style comprised of warm blues and oranges, it’s a game that seeks to reunite two parallel worlds.
In Semispheres, each analogue stick controls a different avatar in environments that might initially appear identical but reveal profound differences crucial to progression. Portals allow the avatars to enter each other’s reality, creating fiendishly complex inter-dimensional puzzles, with success reliant on methodical planning and skilful execution. It’s not all esoteric brain workouts, though. Tension is introduced through the sentries that guard these worlds, whose fields of vision you must evade in order to find safe passage and the eventual resynchronisation of the worlds.
With fiendish puzzles that escalate in complexity, Semispheres presents a real challenge for both puzzle aficionados and newcomers to the genre alike. Yet the game’s beautiful audio and visual presentation ensure things never get too much, making it as soothing an experience as it is challenging.

Following several other developers and publishers, Capcom has now also revealed its lineup of games for the upcoming Tokyo Game Show, which starts in two weeks (thanks to Gematsu for the translation). Capcom isn’t bringing a whole lot of games in general, and only three that are on Nintendo systems – Monster Hunter Stories, to showcase its 1.2 update, and both Resident Evil Revelations and Resident Evil Revelations 2 on Switch, all of which will be playable on the show floor.
Other than the Bound Hero Battle starting today, we have some more Fire Emblem Heroes news. Nephenee and the Black Knight now appear as enemies in the Quick Hero Battle web mini-game, and as such, we now have both of their character artwork. As for when they will be added to the mobile game itself, the upcoming “Moment of Fate” Tempest Trials later this month seems like a safe bet.
Also, a new campaign has started on Twitter. You can support one of four fliers – Narcian, Est, Palla or Catria, and a 4-star version of the winner will be sent to all players. The campaign will run until September 11th. You can vote in Nintendo of Europe’s poll here or retweet the tweet featuring your favorite from the game’s Japanese Twitter account (Narcian, Est, Palla, Catria). The Nintendo of America Twitter account will put out a vote later today as well, and the results of all of those will be combined to determine the winner. Currently, Narcian is in the lead by a wide margin, so get cracking if you want to see any of the Whitewing sisters win!
Another new summoning focus and Bound Hero Battle are now available in Fire Emblem Heroes. The summoning focus is called “Ephraim and Eirika’s Battle” and features 5 star versions of Eirika, Seth, and Ephraim.
The third Bound Hero Battle event is tied in with summoning focus so you will be battling against Ephraim and Eirika in 3 difficulty levels (Hard, Lunatic, Infernal). Clearing each map will give you 2 Orbs each.
This summoning focus & Bound Hero Battle will only be available until September 13th.
