Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition is coming to Switch, it’s just been announced. The game launches on March 20, 2025.

Xenoblade Chronicles X was originally released on Wii U. Now the RPG is coming to Switch “with enhanced visuals, added story elements, and more”. This means the entire Xenoblade series will be on the console.

Chernobylite Complete Edition is in development for Switch, publisher Untold Tales and developer Farm 51 revealed today. The game will be released “soon” on the console.

The game is the same science fiction survival horror RPG that debuted in 2021. For the Switch version, Untold Tales will be offering the game in its original form with the full base game plus all content updates to date, including extra story missions, new locations, additional weapons, unique game modes and more. Fans will also be able to purchase the Chernobylite Premium Edition which has everything we just mentioned along with digital downloads of the official Chernobylite Soundtrack and art book as well as two cosmetic weapons and hideout DLCs – The Seasoned Scavenger and Irradiated Hideout DLC.

Koei Tecmo and Gust just sent out the official Fairy Tail 2 opening movie. This is the video players will initially see when booting up the game. There’s no gameplay here, but it serves as a general introduction of the vibe.

Ys Memoire: The Oath in Felghana just got its final release date on Switch. Today, it was announced that the action RPG launches on January 7, 2025.

Ys Memoire: The Oath in Felghana was confirmed for English release in the west over the summer. Only an early 2025 release window was shared at the launch.

The latest UK software sales chart for the week ending October 26, 2024 is now available.

In its first week, Sonic x Shadow Generations lands at #3. 29 percent of the game’s sales were for the Switch version – the rest was PS5 at 51 percent, Xbox at 12 percent, and PS4 at 8 percent.

Super Mario Party Jamboree is also holding on to the top five. It was #1 last week, but moves down to #4.

Today, it was announced that Hræsvelgr: Quieting Blade will be the next Mythic Hero in Fire Emblem Heroes. The character is planned for this week.

Also announced is that players be able to summon previously released 5-star Legendary Heroes and Mythic Heroes.

Premium Edition Games is readying a new round of Switch physical releases, and the company today announced three more. Fans will be able to pick up boxed versions of Alisa, Arcade Tycoon, and Turbo Kid.

All of these games will have standard editions and limited Retro Editions. Additionally, a limited Deluxe Edition is planned for Turbo Kid. Also, if that wasn’t enough, a few different bundles will be sold containing these games.

SEGA has just announced that a demo for Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble is now available for download on Switch.

For those of you who need a refresher, here’s an overview of the game:

Shadow Man and Turok 2: Seeds of Evil are now available as part of the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack service, it’s just been announced.

These two titles are exclusively playable on the Mature 17+ version of  Nintendo 64 – Nintendo Switch Online, which can be downloaded separately from Nintendo eShop.

The latest firmware update for Switch just went live as Nintendo has started distribution of version 19.0.1.

This marks another update that won’t bring much excitement to system owners in terms of new features. However, it does fix a few bugs regarding GameCube controller compatibility and downloading software in sleep mode that were introduced in version 19.0.0 earlier in October.
