Football Manager 25 has been cancelled, Sports Interactive announced today. The move will impact all versions of the game, including Football Manager 25 Touch on Nintendo Switch.

Sports Interactive says it “made the difficult decision to cancel Football Manager 25 and shift our focus to the next release.” Rather than moving forward with the game, we should now be getting Football Manager 26 instead.

Wario Land 4 is set to appear on the Nintendo Switch Online service, it’s just been announced. The game will be available as part of the Expansion Pack tier on February 14, 2025.

Wario Land 4 originally released in 2001. When the game comes to Nintendo Switch Online, you can boot up the system’s GBA app to play it.

Take-Two reported its financial results today, and during a call with investors, the company commented on potential support for Nintendo Switch 2.

CEO Strauss Zelnick shared a few words here. First, he brought up Take-Two’s “longstanding relationship with Nintendo”. Also mentioned is how now with Switch and Switch 2, these consoles “can support any audience” whereas the publisher didn’t always feel that way about some previous Nintendo platforms. Zelnick seemed shy to bring up any specific plans, but based on his comments, it sounds like we can count on games to follow in the future.

Original: Although patents are often hit and miss when it comes to how significant they are in terms of actual products, a new one has come to light that strongly points to mouse-like functionality for Nintendo Switch 2.

The ability to use Joy-Con similar to that of a mouse isn’t exactly new. There were rumors and leaks pointing in that direction before the system was officially announced last month. Then once Nintendo put out its reveal video for Nintendo Switch 2, talk about mouse-like functionality was further supported after Nintendo showed some footage hinting in that direction.

October 22: Brand new DLC has just been announced for Calico, which is known as “Neat Things”. It’ll be dropping on Switch this winter.

Players can look forward to a bunch of new content. New quests, a new character, new mini-games, and new friends are on the way.

Puyo Puyo Champions has been around on Nintendo Switch via the eShop, but now a physical release is in the cards. Limited Run Games just made the announcement on social media.

Puyo Puyo Champions originally came to Nintendo Switch way back in 2019. The game has always been quite cheap on the eShop, but if you want to add it to your physical collection, now you’ll be able to do so.

Akupara Games and Party for Introverts have now set a release date for Cabernet. The title arrives on February 20, 2025, the two sides confirmed today.

We originally heard about Cabernet, a narrative vampire horror RPG, back in October. We knew it was planned for early 2025, but a proper date has now been provided.

While the Entertainment Software Association is no longer running E3, the organization did just announce a different kind of event known as the Interactive Innovation Conference. This will be held between April 27 and April 30, 2026 at the Fontainebleau Resort in Las Vegas.

According to today’s press release, the Interactive Innovation Conference is “a first-of-its-kind event designed to connect visionaries, thought leaders and innovators from across industries to harness the power of interactive entertainment.” It will offer keynotes, discussions and workshops, and “elite networking opportunities with executives shaping the future of entertainment, business and technology.” Additionally, the event “promises to bring together a broad spectrum of sectors that converge with interactive entertainment, including film, television and music, as well as sports, healthcare, education, finance and more.”

Pineapple Works today unveiled a new Nintendo Switch release, with the publisher gearing up for TactiCats. This one is scheduled for February 20, 2025.

TactiCats was originally developed by HungryDingo. The fast-paced, couch party game has players knocking down enemies and collecting all of the cats and achievements.

December 11: October 29: PQube just announced that it’s picked up Him, the Smile & Bloom for English localization. Expect it to launch in North America and Europe in Q1 2025.

Him, the Smile & bloom is a flower shop otome visual novel. Originally, it came to Japan this past August.
