Etrian Odyssey V was announced way back in November 2014. Aside from a teaser trailer, Atlus shared relatively little about the project.

Atlus’ Shigeo Komori finally provided an update (although brief) about Etrian Odyssey V in this week’s Famitsu. He said that development is in the final stages, and information will come “a bit later after the cold weather has warmed”. In other words, expect to hear news around spring or so.

We actually don’t even have a platform for Etrian Odyssey V. But given the series’ history, it’ll likely be on a Nintendo platform.

Another couple of Atlus deals have gone live on the North American 3DS eShop. Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers is being sold for $10, and Persona Q can be had for $20. Both discounts are valid until 8:59 AM PT / 11:59 AM ET on January 11.

Like pretty much every Wii U game, Genei Ibun Roku #FE is available in Japan as a disc title and as a digital release on the eShop. But if you’re looking for the absolute quickest way to play in terms of loading times, you may want to go with the latter options. While the two are pretty comparable, the download version shaves a few seconds off here and there for things like the initial startup and going into battles.

Famitsu has another update on Shin Megami Tensei IV Final in its latest issue. Three new partner characters are introduced – Hallelujah, Toki, and Gaston – and there’s also information about collecting demons.

Hallelujah is voiced by Masuda Toshiki. He’s 15 years old, and is part of the Ashura Assembly along with his elder brother. By his brother’s orders, he keeps an eye on the player’s party, but he’s rather timid and doesn’t like standing out. His demon of choice is Cironnup, which is Ainu for Fox, a divine beast which is said to bring calamity to humans.

If the hours of footage we posted yesterday weren’t enough, two more videos have come in for Genei Ibun Roku #FE. View them below.

Atlus has uploaded Shin Megami Tensei IV Final’s second trailer. We’ve gone ahead and posted it below.

Genei Ibun Roku #FE finally made its debut in Japan this week. Head past the break for a few Twitch videos, which show several hours of footage.

Today, Atlus announced that they will be releasing a soundtrack album for Shin Megami Tensei IV: Final next year. The OST will be available on February 24th (the game itself will be out on February 10th). The soundtrack will contain a total of 35 tracks on two discs. It will cost 3241 yen (+ taxes).
