The latest trailer for The Great Ace Attorney 2 was heavy on dialogue and general scenes as opposed to gameplay. Thankfully, someone has gone to the trouble of translating the video with English subtitles. You can see that below.

Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers’ web page has updated with new information on how the various network modes will work. There will be an Arcade mode where you face against CPU’s to reach the end of the game, but players can cut in and challenge you, as if it is an arcade machine. The regular online mode will be divided between Casual and Ranked play. Ranked mode will have players winning or losing two types of points (Player and Battle) as they fight. It will feature Quick and Custom matches, as well as the ability to play with friends. Players can even create their own lobbies, setting personal rules and waiting for interested players to join. Casual mode will be a way to play without risking points. The game will also feature a local mode that will let you connect to other Switch consoles.

The page also indicates at the bottom that there will be the option for simplified Lite commands, allowing players to assign more complicated button combinations to single presses. It should be noted that this feature appeared in the 3DS version of Street Fighter IV, and players could make sure they were not matched up against players who used the Lite controls.

After initially showing it at the Ace Attorney 15th anniversary event in Japan yesterday, Capcom has uploaded a new trailer for The Great Ace Attorney 2. We’ve attached it below.

Just a few days ago, Resident Evil 7 director Koshi Nakanishi spoke about Switch and how he finds it to be “unique hardware”. Now producer Masachika Kawata has weighed in as well.

Daily Express asked Kawata if Resident Evil will be on Switch. He unfortunately said there are “no plans at the moment”, but also commented on the hardware’s uniqueness much like Nakanishi.

Kawata said:

“I think it’s a very unique piece of hardware. I’m looking forward to the possibilities of the system itself, but we have no plans at the moment regarding Resident Evil on Switch.”

When Capcom announced The Great Ace Attorney 2 a few months ago, the company didn’t actually confirm any platform for the game. That changed during a 15th anniversary event held in Japan a few hours ago. A new trailer debuted, and it’s now confirmed that The Great Ace Attorney 2 will be exclusively on 3DS.

The video isn’t online just yet. However, we should be seeing it online very soon.
