At Japan Expo 2015, Bandai Namco revealed the first English trailer for their upcoming 3DS game Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden. Check it out below:

Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden will be released in Europe on October 16th and in North America on October 20th.

Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden hit Japan earlier this month, but Bandai Namco prepared another new video for the game. That can be seen below.

In North America, Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden is shipping on October 20. Europe is getting the fighter on October 16.

Following today’s localization announcement of Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden, Bandai Namco has released some material for the game. We’ve attached the North American boxart above, and you can find some screenshots and a fact sheet below.

Update: The European release date is October 16th.

Bandai Namco has just announced via Twitter that the 3DS 2D-Brawler, which launched in Japan last week, is officially getting a western release on October 20th, 2015.

Last week we reported that Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden had been rated in Australia, hinting at possible localization outside of Japan. A retailer in Spain had also started advertising the game, and now that Bandai Namco has made it official via their Twitter, fans in the Americas can get their hands on the fighter as well.

As a huge fan of DBZ and its games, this pleases me greatly. Will you be picking this one up when it launches on October 20th? Let us know your thoughts and excitement in the comments below!

Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden was rated in Australia a few days ago. From that listing, it’s been pretty much assumed that Bandai Namco has plans to localize the 3DS fighter.

If the Australian classification wasn’t enough, a retailer in Spain has apparently started advertising the game. Media Markt has put up a promo poster, which lists an October 30 release date. The included date is likely a placeholder, but the fact that it’s being advertised is certainly encouraging. With any luck, we’ll be getting an official announcement soon!
