This week on NEP, Oni and Galen go off the rails and discuss everything Nintendo under the sun. Plus, Oni’s a little bit nicer to Galen this week. At least, he thinks so.

A ton of news and talking points came up this week – that and Oni’s jetlag made for a great recipe for wacky thoughts and meandering topics for discussion. Furukawa’s comments on Nintendo’s future, SNES on Switch, NoR president shenanigans, and Persona’s future on Nintendo consoles all get talked about, among other things.
Plus, Oni’s kindness breaks under the pressure as he engages in “Kombat” with Galen over OPINIONS on VIDEO GAMES.

Yesterday, Capcom announced plans to bring Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen to Switch. The company quickly confirmed that it will have a few different physical versions in Japan. Thankfully, the west won’t be entirely left out.

A number of Capcom’s releases as of late have been digital-only overseas. However, Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen won’t be one of them. Amazon has opened pre-orders, revealing that there will in fact be a physical copy. You can reserve it here.

Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen launches April 23 on Switch.

Capcom revealed earlier today that Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen is heading to Switch. While a physical version is a bit of a question mark overseas, we have confirmation that a retail copy is planned for Japan.

There will actually be a few different physical versions. A standard copy will set buyers back 3,990 yen. There’s also a 4,990 yen Collector’s Package with a mini soundtrack and a (roughly) 25,000 yen Complete Edition with a pendant.
