Curve Digital have confirmed on Twitter that their title Stealth Inc 2 will be coming exclusively to Wii U later this year:

We’re happy to announce STEALTH INC 2 is coming this year for the Wii U – more information on the blog shortly!

Though the original found its way onto 8 platforms, Curve Digital explain:

“Nintendo has sold a few million Wii Us too, so the audience is there. We want to see what the market is like. We want to test it.”

An interview with the developers and  more information can be found here

Cosmochoria, a title that just recently reached its funding goal on Kickstarter, has been confirmed for Wii U. Creator Nate Schmold shared the news on Twitter, writing:

Here’s an official overview as to what you can expect from Cosmochoria:

Cosmochoria is a love letter to old-school action / arcade games like Asteroids, Mario Bros. and Donkey Kong. Cosmochoria is a mesmerizing way to kill hours: hopping between planets, unravelling forgotten mysteries, killing aliens & giant space monsters and planting mysterious seeds to sprout new life across a long-barren galaxy. Get involved in helping to complete Cosmochoria’s development by backing the project and gain access to some super cool Kickstarter exclusive rewards!

Cosmochoria’s Kickstarter is located here. The Wii U stretch goal awaits at $25,000, which should be met shortly. Even if it doesn’t, it sounds like Schmold will be bringing his game to the eShop.

Remember, Ghost Song isn’t officially confirmed for Wii U. Wii U was originally included in the game’s Kickstarter campaign, but didn’t end up being met. However, the game’s developer has expressed continued interest in bringing Ghost Song to the eShop.

Opposable Games’ real time tactical action title “Salvaged” is tentatively slated for Wii U. If the game reaches its funding goal on Kickstarter, then we will indeed see the indie release on the eShop.

Secrets of Raetikon is being considered for Wii U, developer Broken Rules has said.

The studio’s Felix Bohatsch wrote in a Reddit AMA:

We are talking about a Wii U port. Secrets of Raetikon uses the same tech base as Chasing Aurora: our own in-house engine Ginkgo. This means porting it to Wii U should be rather straight forward.

Elsewhere in the Reddit AMA, Bohatsch discussed why Broken Rules decided to bring the Wii U launch title Chasing Aurora to Nintendo’s console:

We had a local multiplayer prototype that was really fun. At that time Nintendo told us about the Wii U and if we were interested to develop for it. As Nintendo is still strongly pushing local multiplayer, we thought that’s a perfect match. Also who turns down an offer to be a launch title on a console, right?

More: ,

Indie developer XenoHorizon has announced its first title “Arrow Time U” for the Wii U eShop. The game, which will launch later this year, is a puzzle/maze experience in which players guide a blue arrow through various levels.

Arrow Time U will offer the following features:

Forty hand-crafted levels for quick fun you can pick up at any time.
Replay any level you’ve unlocked at any time and aim to beat your high score!
Move through any object and render yourself invincible with the “phase through” ability–but use it wisely, because your power is limited!
Slow down time with the “time alter” ability.
Take down bosses without even attacking them.
Use advanced techniques like the lateral shift, speed boost, and phase timing to exploit the game’s mechanics to their fullest!

We’re told that an Indiegogo campaign will likely be created for Arrow Time U. When it goes live, the goal will be set at about $800 or so.

Screenshots from Arrow Time U can be found above. Note that the images are of development, do not represent the final product, and are subject to change at any time.

On Twitter, 4 Corner Games stated that I’ve Got to Run! is currently on track for a June release. It’s also “now likely” we’ll be seeing a European release as well.

4 Corner’s tweet is as follows:
