Japan gets three Halloween 3DS themes

A trio of Halloween 3DS themes are now available in Japan. These include Zelda and Animal Crossing variations, plus a black cat theme.
Check out the videos below for a look at the new themes in action. Each is priced at 200 yen.

Game Freak’s Solitiba getting a soundtrack release in Japan

Game Freak’s Solitiba (also known as Soritia Horse) is getting a soundtrack in Japan. It was announced on the company’s blog today that the item will be released next month for 2,500 yen.
The soundtrack contains 30 tracks, 25 of which are from the game. Another 5 are bonus tracks including Karaoke and character voices. Also included are QR codes and series codes for the 3DS and iOS versions.

New summons and jobs announced for Final Fantasy Explorers

Jump provides an update on Final Fantasy Explorers this week, revealing new summons and jobs for the 3DS game.
Odin and his steed Sleipnir can be summoned in Final Fantasy Explorers. Additionally, Amaterasu will make its first appearance in the Final Fantasy series.
Jump also confirms the Red Mage and Machinist jobs for Final Fantasy Explorers. Red Mages can use swords and magic attacks against enemies while the Machinist can strike enemies at short intervals with rapid-fire attacks.

Kuroko’s Basketball: Ties to the Future coming to 3DS

Jump’s other 3DS game announcement from this week’s issue is “Kuroko’s Basketball: Ties to the Future”. This will be the series’ second title for Nintendo’s portable.
Kuroko’s Basketball: Ties to the Future will let players control their character to walk around town and talk to other characters. New original event scenes and powered-up basketball action will also be included.
Assassination Classroom: Grand Siege on Kurosensei announced for 3DS

This week’s issue of Jump contains a couple of new 3DS game announcements. The first, Assassination Classroom: Grand Siege on Kurosensei, is a “comical assassin action” game. Players can create their own character and cooperate with the students of Class 3-E to kill Korosensei.
No further information is included in the magazine. Assassination Classroom: Grand Siege on Kurosensei does not have a release date or price currently.

Two new Mario Kart 8 bundles releasing next month (Japan)

Releasing on November 13th Japan will receive two Mario Kart 8 Wii U bundles.
Just like the family packs from last year, except varying colors (one Balck, and one white).
The bundles will contain:
– a pre-loaded copy of Mario Kart 8
– Wiimote
– sensor bar
– Wii U stand
– 2 Gamepad stands
Release price of 32800 yen

Hero Bank 2 demo can unlock Sonic and Shadow skins in the full game

This month’s issue of CoroCoro comes with a QR code that allows 3DS owners to download a Hero Bank 2 demo. It’s no ordinary demo, as it features a special reward.
Those who complete the demo can unlock something special in the retail release. Players will obtain Sonic and Shadow suits that can be used in the full game. For a first look, check out the image above.
