A ton of Japanese songs have been added to the European Wii Karaoke U database. Starting today, users can sing their hearts out to 100 different tunes.

Square Enix has a pretty big collaboration in store between its Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest IPs. Fantasy XI, Dragon Quest X, and Final Fantasy XIV will all be connected through upcoming activities.

Here’s a comprehensive rundown:

– Sage from Dragon Quest X takes a Great Ark to visit Final Fantasy XI
– Sage is looking for a lost slime
– Comes with a Monstrosity event which lets you play as Blue Slime
– Can get special Slime gear
– Spriggan, a monster from the world of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn will suddenly show up in Vana’diel
– Moogles can talk to Spriggans
– Can control the monster using a Monstrosity
– Get Spriggan equipment as well
– In Final Fantasy XIV, the powerful Tarutaru black mage Shantotto from Final Fantasy XI appears in Eorzea
– Can fight Shantotto in a FATE (Full Active Time Event)
– Defeat her and she’ll join you as a minion
– Another FATE has players fight Golems from Dragon Quest X and if you win you get a tiny Golem minion
– Shantotto shows up in Dragon Quest X
– If you help her find materials for black magic you can get a Chocobo hat
– Moogle from Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn also gives Dragon Quest X players a quest
– Complete it to receive a Cactaur Mask

As of late, we’ve been hearing about quite a few 3DS games that have been pushed back in Japan. Game Center CX 3 is the latest title to be suffering a delay. Namco Bandai has moved the game’s release date back from January 23 to March 20.

Super Mario 3D World’s first week sales from Japan are in. Unfortunately, they’re not too hot.

Nintendo sold just over 100,000 copies of Super Mario 3D World in Japan last week. With roughly 107,000 copies in the hands of gamers, it’s the lowest debut for a 3D Mario game.

Here’s how Super Mario 3D World stacks up to other 3D entries:

1) Super Mario Galaxy 2 – 337,569 (1,032,853 total)
2) Super Mario 3D Land – 344,698 (1,861,023 total)
3) Super Mario Sunshine – 280,610 (789,989 total)
4) Super Mario Galaxy – 256,341 (1,025,664 total)
5) Super Mario 64* – 162,113 (1,639,914 total)
6) Super Mario 64 DS* – 120,062 (1,231,535 total)
7) Super Mario 3D World – 106,967

* Launch title

Of course, there are some things to consider here, such as the Wii U’s very low install base. Mario 3D World will also likely be one of Nintendo’s titles that continues to sell continuously over the next few years.
