The latest issue of Jump introduces two new villain characters for Bravely Second. Here’s an overview of Emperor Oblivion and Anne, as translated by Gematsu:

Emperor Oblivion – The unidentified masked man who spread ravages of war throughout the world with his powerful military force. He attacks the Orthodoxy and Principality Peace Signing Ceremony and kidnaps Agnes.

Anne – A mysterious fairy wearing jet black clothing who accompanies Oblivion. She has a relentless side that can sometimes peek out of her.

Bravely Second producer Tomoya Asano also told Jump that a demo for the game will be released soon.

Square Enix released a new trailer for Final Fantasy Explorers. You can watch it above.

Additionally, we have news about more character transformations that can be done via the trance system. The latest issue of Jump confirms that Cecil from Final Fantasy IV, Vaan from Final Fantasy XII, and Tifa and Aerith from Final Fantasy VII will be included in Final Fantasy Explorers. Cecil’s attacks will change depending if he’s in Dark Knight or Paladin mode.

Lastly, we have a quick update on summons. Alexander and Diabolos will both be in Final Fantasy Explorers.

This week’s issue of Jump has yet another update for Final Fantasy Explorers.

Here’s the latest information from the magazine:

Jobs

– Dragon knight: Uses “Jump” which is a powerful attack that strikes enemies from above. Ability: Jump
– Beast master: Has the power to control monsters and can absorb enemy’s health with attacks. Ability: Berserk
– Dark knight: Attacker with great power. Uses sickle/scythe and axe which have large range. Ability: Power blood

Other

– Summon: Bahamut. Spits breaths with several attributes, rushes and causes earthquakes as attacks
– When you slay a monster, there is a chance to get a “spirit stone” as a drop. From those stones it is possible to create ally monsters

V Jump’s November issue has revealed “The Legend of Legacy” for 3DS. FuRyu is releasing the game in partnership with the magazine on January 22. Pricing is set at 5,980 yen.

The Legend of Legacy allows players to choose between seven protagonists: Meurs the elementaler, Bianca the amnesiac girl, Liber the treasure hunter, Garnet the church’s knight of justice, Owen the capable mercenary, Eloise the bewitching alchemist, and Filmia the frog prince. As far as the plot goes, Anime News Network reports: “The story of gods’ legacy and truth begins on Avalon, the legendary land that has awakened from an eternal slumber.”

The latest issue of Jump dates Final Fantasy Explorers for Japan. The game will be available on December 18 according to the magazine.

Jump also shares the following details:

– Time Mage can use support magic to help allies
– Ninjas use speed to their advantage
– New summons in Jump
– Ramuh: uses electric attacks and teleporting abilities to give players a hard time
– Fenrir: its speed is second to none, and it will use water-based magic to damage players
– “Trance” system: powerful ability that lets you do things like temporarily pull off special attacks without using AP or temporarily gain increased parameters
