Inazuma Eleven may finally make its debut in the US, if a listing on Nintendo’s website is to be believed. An inclusion on the company’s release calender page includes a Q1 2014 launch for “Inazuma Eleven” without any further details.

Nintendo has yet to announce any of the Inazuma Eleven titles for North America. Could this listing be nothing more than an error?

If it is indeed legitimate, we’re hoping that Inazuma Eleven 1-2-3 will make its way over rather than simply the first game, as the former product bundles together the series’ first three releases.

None of Level-5’s Inazuma Eleven games have launched in North America. But that may be changing in the future, if a new trademark is any indication.

Level-5 registered a trademark for Inazuma Eleven in the US way back in January 2010. That filing has since expired, but a new trademark has popped up recently. The latest trademark is similar to the previous one, but with an additional provision for use with animated entertainment and online distribution.

So this seems a bit random, doesn’t it? For whatever reason, this particular scene from Professor Layton and the Azran Legacy shows different-colored clothing for one of the characters (on the right). He’s apparently a priest-like character, so some speculate that the change could be religious-related.
