Xenoblade 3 Official Artworks Aionios Moments art book

January 18: Kadokawa will release an art book for Xenoblade Chronicles 3 titled Xenoblade 3 Official Artworks Aionios Moments, the company just announced. In Japan, it’s slated for April 1, 2024.

The book features content from both the main game and Future Redeemed DLC. There’ll be a ton of content here as 448 pages will be in the final product.

Xenoblade 3 Chronicles 3 update 2.2.0

Nintendo and Monolith Soft just started distribution of a new version 2.2.0 update for Xenoblade Chronicles 3.

As you may remember, Noah and Mio amiibo release this week. The game has now added in functionality for both figures.

Bandai Namco has started distribution of a new version 1.0.3 update for Baten Kaitos I & II HD Remaster.

The two titles have both addressed some bugs. Additionally, Bandai Namco promises stability and usability improvements.

Xenoblade 2 Torna DLC music Whiplash

According to Xenoblade series director Tetsuya Takahashi, we have the 2015 movie Whiplash to thank for the jazz-inspired soundtrack in Xenoblade Chronicles 2 – Torna: The Golden Country.

Takahashi shared a lengthy message looking back on the franchise as part of the recently-released Xenoblade Chronicles Original Soundtrack Trinity Box. He had some kind words for composer Yasunori Mitsuda, and would later go on to discuss Torna. Takahashi had hoped to incorporate “a jazz-style atmosphere” in the main game, but “there wasn’t enough time to implement it”.

Baten Kaitos I & II HD Remaster update 1.0.2

Bandai Namco today issued a new version 1.0.2 update for Baten Kaitos I & II HD Remaster. We have the patch notes as well.

Today’s update addresses a couple of key issues, including one that could freeze the game. Stability has been improved as well.

Xenoblade composer fresh start

Kenji Hiramatsu, one of the main composers of the Xenoblade Chronicles series, has shared a special message and says that “it’s time for a fresh start”.

Hiramatsu has worked on the franchise since the very beginning. Some of the tracks he’s been involved with include Engage the Enemy, You Will Know Our Names, Counterattack, You Will Recall Our Names, and You Will Know Our Names – Finale. 

Baten Kaitos I & II HD Remaster gameplay

A massive amount of gameplay has dropped for Baten Kaitos I & II HD. Footage shows both titles – the original Baten Kaitos and its prequel Baten Kaitos Origins.

As a heads up for Xenoblade Chronicles 3 players, a new 2.1.1 update has just been made available. Nintendo has put up the patch notes as usual.

Baten Kaitos HD Remaster interview

We recently had the chance to speak with Koji Nakajima, the producer of Baten Kaitos I & II HD Remaster. These classic RPGs originally launched during the GameCube era, and are now making a comeback after roughly two decades.
