At Anime Boston a few days ago, VIZ Media announced that it will release Dragon Quest Illustrations: 30th Anniversary Edition in the west. Pre-orders have now started to open. You can reserve it on either Amazon or Amazon Canada.

Dragon Quest Illustrations: 30th Anniversary Edition, which is hardcover by the way, features over 500 illustrations from Dragon Quest to Dragon Quest Heroes II. It also comes with a fold-out poster of the series timeline. Over 200 pages are included inside.

Limited Run Games’ first physical release for Switch is finally here. You can pre-order the physical version of Thimbleweed Park here, and there’s also a collector’s edition here. Pricing is set at $34.99 and $64.99 respectively.

Yesterday, HORI revealed an interesting accessory for Switch. The company is making its own Joy-Con type of controller that comes with a d-pad.

There are some interesting circumstances surrounding the controller. It won’t have HD Rumble, gyro sensors or an accelerometer. It also has no Bluetooth functionality and must be used in handheld mode.

In any case, the concept is rather neat and it seems to be priced appropriately at $23.99. Play-Asia has pre-orders open here.

Pre-orders for Dark Souls: Remastered have now opened on the Nintendo UK store. You can reserve it here. By purchasing the game, you’ll receive a metal plate pictured above.

The Octopath Traveler – Traveler’s Compendium Edition went up on Amazon Germany last week. But less than a day in, pre-orders sold out.

Fans in Germany will be happy to hear that this is back up once again. Orders can be placed here. The game, a pop-up book, a map of Orsterra and a replica coin are all included.
