Ubisoft sale kicks off on the Wii U and 3DS eShops

Ubisoft has put a bunch of games on sale across the Wii U and 3DS eShops. Starting today and lasting for one week only, Nintendo players can save on the likes of Rayman Legends, ZombiU, and more.

Splinter Cell: Blacklist is currently available on Amazon for $18. You can pick up a copy here. Blacklist is a pretty high-quality third-party release, so if you haven’t added it to your library yet, you may want to consider grabbing the game from Amazon.

“March Mayhem Sale” kicks off on Square Enix Online Store

Square Enix has initiated a new “March Mayhem Sale” on its online store. Consumers can save 20% on one game, 30% on two games, or 50% on three+ games.

Renegade Kid seems to have a sale kicking off shortly on the eShop. It’s looking like all of the studio’s games will be available (possibly 3DS only) for 30 percent off starting tomorrow.
Renegade Kid co-founder Jools Watsham teased on Twitter:
Tomorrow is the first day of spring. I expect that might be a great time to kick off a Super Spring Sale on the Nintendo eShop! 🙂

Guitar Hero, DJ Hero, Band Hero DLC to be taken down after March 31

Downloadable content for the “Hero” games is on the way out.
After March 31, users will be unable to purchase extra songs for the Guitar Hero, DJ Hero, and Band Hero games. Note that the Guitar Hero servers will be kept online and previously-purchased content will still be accessible.
In light of today’s announcement, select tracks have gone on sale. Players can save up to 50 percent on certain songs.

A pair of first-party 3DS titles are on sale at both Amazon and Best Buy. You can pick up Mario Kart 7 (Amazon, Best Buy) and Animal Crossing: New Leaf (Amazon, Best Buy) for $5 off each.
Also worth mentioning, Amazon has the Wii Fit U bundle available for $64.59. This comes with the game, Balance Board, and Fit Meter.
