This week, The Escapists 2 received an update on Switch. Along with various fixes and Japanese language support, The Glorious Regime DLC map is now available.

Yoku's Island Express

Yoku’s Island Express has been out on Nintendo Switch for a couple of months niw. If you’re still unsure whether or not the game is for you, you can now try it out via a free demo that’s available now on the eShop.

Team17 has dated the atmospheric side-scrolling platform adventure game, Planet Alpha. It’ll be releasing September 4 via the eShop.

Yoku's Island Express

Yoku’s Island Express has been updated on Switch. The game received some quality of life improvements, along with many bug fixes.

A new Overcooked 2 video has arrived showing off the game’s first five levels on Switch. Check out the footage below.

Team17 and Ghost Town Games released a trailer today showcasing the five chefs players will receive if they pre-order Overcooked 2. Those who reserve the game will be provided with Kevin’s “Too Many Cooks” pack which gives them access to five exclusive chefs at launch: Calico Cat chef, Monkey chef, Unicorn chef, Walrus chef, and Alien chef. Tomorrow, Mugsters will be out on Switch as one of the latest digital downloads from the eShop. Take a look at some footage below.

When Yooka-Laylee was funded on Kickstarter, one of the stretch goals met involved was an old-school N64 shader mode. This wasn’t included in the 3D platformer upon its initial launch, but Playtonic will be adding it in soon.

A first look at the shader was posted on Playtonic’s website today. The “demastered” look will be offered through the “64-Bit” tonic.
