The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

Earlier in the week, Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime said that the next Zelda: Breath of the Wild DLC pack is still on track for this year. We also heard that a release date would be shared soon.

If that wasn’t enough, Zelda producer Eiji Aonuma has also reconfirmed that the DLC will be out by the end of 2017. A random video posted on Nintendo Australia’s YouTube channel today has Aonuma saying that the team is “working on it with great effort” and to “please hold on just a little longer”. He also says explicitly that the DLC “will also be available by the end of this year”.

Nintendo is keeping up with its weekly item distributions for Zelda: Breath of the Wild on Switch. If you’ve subscribed to the official news channel, a message from director Hidemaro Fujibayashi should be showing up.

Once you’ve launched Breath of the Wild from Fujibayashi’s message, you should be able to receive the items right away. They include Cool Safflina, Voltfruit, and Spicy Pepper.

Director Hidemaro Fujibayashi once again behind the message. He’s here to help you out with a tip about rusty weapons. When you start Breath of the Wild from the news message, you’ll receive a Rusty Broadsword upon starting the game.

The latest item distribution has gone live in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild on Switch. If you’ve subscribed to the official news channel on the system, you should be seeing a message from director Hidemaro Fujibayashi.

One specific item is being distributed this time around, and it’s a fairly useful one. You’ll get your hands on a Fire Rod upon starting the game. Look for it in a treasure chest as soon as you load up your save file.

At CEDEC 2017 last month, Nintendo held a presentation dedicated to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. It focused on approach to development and behind the scenes creation from a technical standpoint. It’s not the sort of thing that you’re normally able to hear about it, but it was pretty darn interesting.

Nintendo has once again carried out an item distribution for Zelda: Breath of the Wild on Switch. If you subscribed to the game’s news channel, you should be receiving a message from director Hidemaro Fujibayashi.

Hyrule Bass, Hylian Shrooms, and a Raw Bird Drumstick are this week’s distributions. Once you receive the message, you should see a link to boot up Zelda: Breath of the Wild. All of these items will appear in your game immediately.

Nintendo has posted a video with the producer for Breath of the Wild, Eiji Aonuma talking about that Chinese, Simplified Chinese and Korean languages will be coming to Breath of the Wild in early 2018 next year. With these new languages, Breath of the Wild will have 12 different language options to choose from.

Nintendo sent out multiple items this time around. Along with a Bright-Eyed Crab, you’ll also receive a Stamella Shroom. This is the sixth item distribution for Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
