Sea of Stars Dawn of Equinox update

September 30: Sabotage Studios today unveiled a major “Dawn of Equinox” update for Sea of Stars, which is bringing local co-op, Mystery Locks for combat, revamped prologue, a new cutscene, difficulty presets, and more. The patch goes live on November 12, 2024.

Overall, the new update includes some of the most requested features and improvements informed by player feedback. Sabotage actually says that the patch makes the RPG the studio’s “fully realized vision” for the game.

TMNT Splintered Fate online matchmaking, Challenge Mode, DLC, more

August 26: The team behind Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate shared a roadmap for the game today, which outlines future plans – including online matchmaking, Challenge Mode, DLC, and more.

The game’s next update will be available “very soon”. Once the patch is installed, cross-play between Switch and Apple Arcade will be supported. Various bug fixes and stability improvements will be included as well.

Sail Forth update 1.6 Before the Wind

A significant “Before the Wind” update came to Sail Forth this week, which is also version 1.6.

The update “contains a wide variety of features and improvements that are focused around both responding to community feedback and better integrating the recently added open world design with the rest of the game.” Highlights include a combined and improved map screen, a new spyglass item, persistent NPC ships which inhabit the world, and an expanded world map and new bosses for the Maelstrom DLC.

Drova Forsaken Kin updates

Following the launch of Drova: Forsaken Kin, Deck13 Spotlight and Just2D have announced that free updates are planned for the dark pixel RPG. We don’t have specific release dates, we know that patches are slated for this month, December, and March.

A few different things are planned. Players can look forward to new features and content like a new difficulty mode and a mysterious new challenge.

Rogue Flight update Caravan Mode

Not long after it came to Nintendo Switch, Rogue Flight already received a significant update that brings along Caravan Mode.

The new mode has players engaging in non-stop combat for two intense minutes, battling waves of enemies while striving for the highest score possible. In addition, the patch features all-new enemy variants, each equipped with their own unique attacks, requiring quick reflexes and strategic thinking to overcome, on top of other quality of life fixes.

No Man's Sky cross-save

It’s a big day for No Man’s Sky as the game is starting to roll out cross-save.

The functionality will begin with a limited beta. Starting today, players can connect their different platform accounts together here. Following that, a subset of users will be admitted to the beta. Those that are selected can upload and download saves from any connected platform. The feature will extend to all players in the “coming weeks”.

Hot Lap Racing 1.1.1 update

Hot Lap Lacing received a new version 1.1.1, and the big feature addition is cross-play.

Cross-play means that all players can compete online together regardless of platform. Nintendo Switch, Steam, and Epic Games Store are now connected. Also, on top of that, wheel adjustments and bug fixes are included.

Card-en-Ciel free updates

Card-en-Ciel recently launched on Switch, but more content is coming to the game via free updates. Today, Inti Creates confirmed it will support for the game for at least five months.

The first update drops this month. It will include new post-game dungeons, giving players new challenges and opportunities to build overpowered combos using the cards they collect throughout the game.

#Blue is back with a major “Claws for Alarm” update. Halloween might be over, but the game got new content that ties in with the celebration.

Cassette Beasts 1.7 Gauntlet update

Cassette Beasts has announced a new update known as “Gauntlet”, which is version 1.7. Switch players can access it starting on November 20, 2024.

After completing the main game, players will be able to take on previous bosses and rivals. A new Sticker fusion feature is also included.
