The game lets you explore a mysterious planet, rescue stranded castaways in strategic Dandori Battles, collect Treasures on the planet’s surface and underground, set off for Night Expeditions (also new for this entry), and more.
Activision regrets not releasing Call of Duty on Switch, PlayStation boss says Nintendo isn’t Sony’s direct competitor

Call of Duty has thus far not made it to Switch, but looking back on things, Activision seems to regret things a bit.
In a court battle taking place this week between the FTC and Microsoft, Activision CEO Bobby Kotick actually ended up commenting on Nintendo’s console. Speaking about the lack of support for Call of Duty on the console, he said: “I made a bad judgment.” Kotick had initially believed Nintendo was trying to do too much with the Switch and that it wouldn’t be a success. However, he has now acknowledged: “It’s probably the second biggest video game system of all time.”

[Preview] Hands-on with Hot Wheels Unleashed 2: Turbocharged

2021’s Hot Wheels Unleashed was a huge surprise for fans of arcade racers and the die-cast toys alike; I had a great time with it when I reviewed it, even if I felt the game could have benefitted from tweaked vehicle handling and more variety overall. Now, two years later, developer Milestone is gearing up for the release of Hot Wheels Unleashed 2: Turbocharged on October 19, and I had an opportunity to check out an early build of the game at Summer Game Fest. While some of my critiques of the first game – like environmental variety – look like they may not be resolved at launch, I enjoyed some of the new mechanics and modes the team is adding this time around.

Circana has released a listing of the top ten best-selling games in the U.S. for the month of May 2023.
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom was the biggest release of the month, and it’s no surprise that the game managed to top the chart at #1. Nintendo previously announced that over four million copies were sold alone in the Americas in its first three days. This title was also the fastest-selling Switch game and the fastest-selling Nintendo game for any system in that territory.
Also worth noting, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom amiibo led May accessories in unit sales. Breath of the Wild returned to the top 20 monthly chart in May, placing at #13 after finishing April at #28.
Here’s a look at the complete list of best-selling games in the U.S. for May 2023:

Nintendo president Shuntaro Furukawa has revealed that the successor to the Switch will utilise the same “Nintendo Account” system when it releases.
Furukawa shared that information during Nintendo’s recent shareholder Q&A. He stated that the desire was to ensure as smooth a transition for customers as possible. Over 290 million Nintendo Accounts have been made worldwide, so it is unsurprising that Nintendo would want to continue to support this system.

[Review] We Love Katamari Reroll + Royal Reverie
Posted on 1 year ago by Edan(@@Virtualboi92) in Reviews, Switch | 0 comments
System: Switch
Release date: June 2, 2023
Developer: Bandai Namco / Monkey Craft
Publisher: Bandai Namco
Sometimes, the biggest challenge we face as reviewers is in describing simple concepts – take Katamari, for instance. You play as a tiny green man called the Prince, and you’re tasked with rolling around a comically large and sticky ball. You navigate contained levels with the aim of rolling stuff up into that ball, and growing larger as a result. It sounds closer to a cheese-dream than a compelling gameplay loop, doesn’t it? Despite the outlandish premise, Bandai Namco’s Katamari series has garnered a sizable fanbase over the last two decades. While us super-fans collectively pine for a brand new entry in the series, a re-release of the franchise’s phenomenal second outing We Love Katamari has found its way into our lives courtesy of developer Monkey Craft. Out of all of the base expectations you can have for a remake or a remaster, matching or exceeding the original title in every metric is paramount. When it comes to We Love Katamari Reroll + Royal Reverie, we get a couple of hits, and a whole bunch of misses.
