Nintendo Classic Mini Famicom Weekly Shonen Jump 50th Anniversary Edition

Nintendo Classic Mini Famicom Weekly Shonen Jump 50th Anniversary Edition debuted in Japan last Saturday. Thanks to Media Create, we now know how the system performed.

According to the sales tracker, 110,000 units were sold in its first week. Since the reporting period ended on July 8, that means those sales account for only two days.

Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy

New sales data is in from the UK for the month of June 2018.

Two big Switch games appeared on the list for the first time. Combined with other platforms, Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy placed third with the Switch version selling similarly to the Xbox One release. Mario Tennis Aces also appeared at #8.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

Each year when E3 rolls around, it’s accompanied by increased activity at retailers like GameStop. Switch in particular put in work there.

GameStop VP of merchandising Eric Bright mentioned to GamesIndustry that Switch sales doubled during E3 week. Titles like Smash Bros. Ultimate were also highly pre-ordered.

Fox n Forests

Fox n Forests is closing in on nearly two months since its initial release. To see how the game is performing thus far, Destructoid caught up with director Rupert Ochsner for an update.

Ochsner stated that “Nintendo Switch is our strongest platform to date.” He also said that, currently, Switch has a 3:1 ratio of sales compared to PC, and a 4:1 ratio against PS4. Xbox One data is not yet available.

Bonus Level Entertainment had no issues in making the game for Switch. Unity was used here, and “all platforms were more or less similar in terms of challenges and workload.”
