AEW: Fight Forever

Original (8/1): Yuke’s has been known to be working on AEW: Fight Forever, an upcoming wrestling game, since the end of 2020. There’s been a bit of a question as to which platforms the game will end up on, but it’s currently looking like a Switch version could be in the cards.

A listing for AEW: Fight Forever has surfaced on Amazon UK. The retailer lists a tentative December 31 release date and THQ Nordic as publisher, the latter of which was only confirmed a few weeks ago.

Fire Emblem Heroes update 6.8.0

Nintendo and Intelligent Systems have shared the full patch notes for the Fire Emblem Heroes version 6.8.0 update, which was first mentioned during this week’s Feh Channel presentation.

There’s a lot planned here, but we’ll just mention some of the highlights. Binding Worlds will be added as a new event, new skills are being added for a Legendary and Mythic Hero, new Memento Events are being added to Heroes Journey, and more.

Nexomon + Nexomon: Extinction: Complete Collection release date

Publisher PQube and developer Vewo Interactive today announced a final release date for Nexomon + Nexomon: Extinction: Complete Collection. The package is slated for release on August 26, 2022.

As the name implies, you’ll be getting two games here. Nexomon and Nexomon: Extinction, two monster-catching games, will be sold together. Prismazor, Carnagrius, and Jeeta will also be included as brand new creatures accessible through post game content.

August 2022 Pokemon Presents live stream

A new Pokemon Presents presentation will soon be airing for August 2022, and we’ve set up a live stream for the event. The fun begins at 6 AM PT / 9 AM ET / 2 PM in the UK / 3 PM in Europe.

It’s been officially stated that we’ll be hearing about both video games and apps related to the franchise. Unsurprisingly, Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet will be making an appearance. No further details have been specified.

According to Nintendo, Kirby and the Forgotten Land has experienced the highest sell-through for any entry in the series to date.

That information comes from the company’s latest financial report. In its first 15 weeks, the game sold 4.53 million copies on Switch.

Switch production has been known to be an issue for quite a significant period now due to shortages of components for semiconductors. It’s something that Nintendo has continued to deal with throughout 2022, but it looks like the situation will be improving by the end of the year.

As part of Nintendo’s latest financial results, the company said that hardware production saw a decrease in shipments and sales. Looking from late summer towards the fall though, the Big N is anticipating that there’ll be a gradual improvement in procurement.

In addition to Nintendo’s financial results for August 2022, the company’s latest release schedule has been provided. It highlights upcoming projects from both a first and third-party perspective.

There’s not too much news to go around, which is mostly a good thing. Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 is still planned for Spring 2023 while Advance Wars 1 + 2: Re-Boot Camp is still without a release date.

Other than sharing an overview of its financial results today, Nintendo has also provided an update listing of its million sellers. The latest set of data is available regarding Switch games that have reached that mark.

It’s worth noting that Kirby and the Forgotten Land and Nintendo Switch Sports are both over four million units each. Additionally, Mario Strikers: Battle League is at almost two million.

THQ Nordic appears to be preparing a re-release of Risen, and a Switch version could be in the cards.

A rating for the title has now surfaced from USK, the official ratings board in Germany. Switch has its own classification, but no further information is provided on the page.
