Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble Hatsune Miku Godzilla DLC, 2.0 update

SEGA shared some big news for Super Monkey Ball: Banana Rumble today, as we not only have news about new Hatsune Miku and Godzilla DLC, but also a version 2.0 update highlighted by Super Punchy Brawl in Battle Mode. Everything is dropping on November 26, 2024.

Hatsune Miku and Godzilla will both be available for purchase. Fans can wreak destruction on fellow players as Godzilla, with banana pickups replaced by trains, or groove through various stages as Miku, collecting musical notes in lieu of bananas.

Cuisineer new features

XSEED, Marvelous, and BattleBrew Productions today offered up a new look at Cuisineer that shows off new features for the game.

The title was previously made available on PC. However, now for the console release, the roguelite/restaurant sim is adding a new wardrobe feature, year-round festivals, and additional sizzling weapons and boosts. Even more details will be shared in The Mix Fall Online Showcase 2024 on November 21.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Future Saga Chapter 2

September 27: The Future Saga DLC for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 continues, and we now have a first tease of Future Saga Chapter 2.

The next round of DLC was shown off in a trailer today. In the video, we see that Fu is growing more and more ominous and the Gods of Destruction arguing over something. It’ll be another fierce battle for the Time Patrollers.

After an extremely long wait, Leif’s Adventure: Netherworld Hero has a release date. Publisher Mindscape and developer OneManOnMars Art & Games announced today that it arrives on December 19, 2024.

Our original report on Leif’s Adventure: Netherworld Hero was shared way back in 2017. At least at the time, it was planned for the following spring. It’s unclear what happened along the way, but the project ended up taking several more years of development.

Shakedown Hawaii update Pen vs. Sword

Shakedown: Hawaii just got a surprise “Pen vs. Sword” update, which brings along new content. This was unexpected given how the last notable patch released four years ago.

Players can get their hands on new weapons, challenges, styles, and a multiplier assistant feature. Also included are extra hints and a wave of bug fixes.

IronFall Invasion release date

November 14: After it originally released on 3DS years ago, IronFall: Invasion will make its return on Nintendo Switch later this month. VD-Dev has it pinned down for November 28, 2024.

There was originally talk surrounding IronFall: Invasion on Nintendo Switch in 2022. At the time, VD-Dev was planning a 2023 launch. After taking significantly longer than originally expected, the shooter will now arrive at the end of this month. That news was shared on social media today.

Final Fantasy 6 HD-2D Remake

Masaaki Hayasaka, the producer of Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D Remake, has expressed strong interest in seeing Final Fantasy 6 get the same treatment.

Hayasaka was asked about which game he’d like to see receive the remake treatment in an interview with Inverse. As it turns out, Final Fantasy 6 is his top choice. Interestingly, that game was actually used as a reference point for the first Octopath Traveler.

Pixel Sprout Studios

Sun Haven, which has earned a strong reception on PC, will now be making its way to Nintendo Switch. Pixel Sprout Studios will be bringing it over on November 29, 2024. Note that this date only applies to the Americas but other regions will follow soon.

As for the actual game, Sun Haven is a fantasy farming sim with RPG twist. While it won’t include multiplayer on Nintendo Switch, the team “will be looking into how difficult it will be” to support the functionality following launch.

Pokemon Scarlet Violet best-selling games Japan

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet have reached a new sales milestone in Japan. It’s now being reported that they’re now the best-selling entry in the series to date.

According to a Famitsu report, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet have sold over 8.3 million units in Japan alone. Previously, Pokemon Red and Green were the series’ best-selling games in the country.

Find Love or Die Trying

Ratalaika Games is publishing another visual novel on Nintendo Switch this week, which is Find Love or Die Trying. It will be available on November 22, 2024.

Sunseeker Games originally developed Find Love or Die Trying. The premise revolves around a dating show where ending up single means ending up dead.
