Super Mario Run Super Mario Party Jamboree event

Super Mario Run has hosted a few new events throughout the year, and now players can get involved in another one featuring Super Mario Party Jamboree.

Similar to past events, players can get rewards by completing missions. There are Rainbow Galleria, Goomba Lagoon, and King’s Bowser’s Keep missions to complete. By doing everything, you can receive nine different rewards.

F-Zero 99 update 1.5.5

F-Zero 99 has received a bunch of support throughout 2024, and one last 1.5.5 update for the year was just released.

Frozen Tour is back in action, and can be played until January 19, 2025. Players will compete in three-lap races for points as they aim for a high score. Gem Sparks can also be collected on Frozen Tour Event tracks to unlock special rewards.

Terra Nil Vita Nova patch notes

The big “Vita Nova” update for Terra Nil has just made its way to Nintendo Switch and we’ve got the patch notes.

The patch brings along a bunch of new content for players plus bug fixes. New missions, a new animal system, a world map UI revamp, and more are included. Plus things won’t be stopping here as another content update is already in the works.

Nintendo Switch 2 rumors dock Joy-Con drift

The past few weeks have been absolutely nuts for Nintendo Switch 2 rumors. Something that’s been going around lately are claims from Redditor user “NextHandheld”, who says he’s not only seen the system, but was even able to get their hands on it.

We’ve not shared any of those rumors as it all just seemed a bit too outlandish, but The Verge spoke with them and now says they’ve “heard and seen enough to think they might be legit.” The Verge is a respected outlet, and in a way, is putting its reputation on the line for mentioning that. Nothing is confirmed still, but we felt that this would at least be worth sharing – and you can decide whether or not to believe it.

Neva Accessibility update

Neva just gained a new “Accessibility” update which the team says is a “major” release.

The update contains fixes, changes, and new accessibility-focused features. Based on player feedback, various improvements have been implemented including the ability to skip the three chase sequences in Story Mode, easier platform mechanics, high-contrast menus, and more.

9 Years of Shadows physical

The year is almost over, but Limited Run Games is squeezing in 9 Years of Shadows as one of its final physical releases of 2024.

The title will be available for the first time in boxed form on Nintendo Switch. As of now there’ll just be a standard version, and no special editions.

Boti Byteland Overclocked

Publisher Untold Tales and developer Purple Ray Studio are putting Boti: Byteland Overclocked on Nintendo Switch, the two sides revealed today. The game isn’t too far off – it’s scheduled for January 10, 2025.

Boti: Byteland Overclocked is a colorful, co-operative 3D platformer inspired by classics like Super Mario Galaxy and Croc but with modern twists and innovations. Players will double jump, dash, hover, and glide through vibrant levels, discovering fantastic combos. The Nintendo Switch version features the base game and all four DLC packs that add new game modes, special gameplay mechanics, additional skins, holiday-themed levels and more.
