Dinosaur Planet - Star Fox Adventures

Star Fox Adventures ended up having a bit of an unconventional development history. Originally, it was planned as an N64 title. The game was also going to be its own thing before Shigeru Miyamoto looked at what Rare had come up with and felt it should tie into Star Fox. What we ultimately ended up with was an action-adventure Star Fox title on the GameCube.

Now thanks to Forest of Illusion, we’re getting a pretty good look at what the project was like originally. A disc was purchased from a private game collector in Sweden, and the file date lists the build as being from December 1, 2000.

Nintendo eShop

Nintendo has long moved on from Wii U, but the system’s eShop is still up and running. Unfortunately though, it looks like some games have been getting removed.

Most notable of the bunch is probably Super Meat Boy. Based on the Wayback Machine, January 25 was the last time the page was captured from Nintendo’s website. Now about a month later, there are no traces of the title.

Nintendo Everything reader TruExtent informed us about Super Meat Boy’s removal as well as other games on his wishlist that have become unavailable to purchase. The lineup includes:

Twitter user HEYimHeroic recently uncovered some interesting little tidbits about Miis on Switch. It turns out that the SDK has references to something called “Special Miis”.
