Hitman 3 - Chongqing

IO Interactive today issued a new trailer for Hitman 3 that gives a first look at Chongqing, which “takes Agent 47 to the rainy, neon-lit streets of a Chinese transportation hub packed full of shops and food stands, all crammed into tight streets – with plenty of secrets off the beaten path.” We’ve included the video below.

Hitman 3 will be released for Switch in the future via a Cloud Version.

The Last Kids on Earth and the Staff of Doom

Outright Games, Atomic Cartoons, Stage Clear Studios, and Cyber Group Studios have announced The Last Kids on Earth and the Staff of Doom. The kid friendly zombie and monster action game, based on the book and TV series, launches for Switch in Spring 2021.

Maglam Lord

D3 Publisher and Felistella have set a release date for Maglam Lord, an upcoming action RPG for Switch. Famitsu is reporting that the game will launch for Switch in Japan on March 18, 2021.

Speaking of Famitsu, more coverage is expected in this week’s issue. The magazine will detail the game’s various characters and “Deco” weapons customization system. It’ll also come with a developer interview featuring world setting and scenario creator Kei Miyakozuki and character designer and illustrator Lack.

Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp

Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp has updated with its latest set of animals, as nine more characters have been added. The lineup includes Friga, Zucker Al, Soleil, Benedict, Rooney, Candi, Cyrano, and Peaches.

Players can obtain animal maps through souvenirs from exporting to specific islands in Gulliver’s Ship. Additionally, animals can be encountered by exploring and completing animal maps in Blathers’s Treasure Trek.

Gal Gun Returns

Inti Creates today published the opening movie for Gal Gun Returns. It features the song “Illumination Love returns”, created by yo-yu and performed by the star heroine Kaname Nonomiya (Haruka Miyake).

Drageus Games is bringing the minimalist puzzle game Girabox to Switch this week, the studio announced today. The title, originally made by Conradical Games, will be out on November 27.

Nintendo Switch Parental Controls

The Nintendo Switch Parental Controls app has received an update. On both iOS and Android, version 1.14.0 has been released.

Today’s update adds support for iOS 14 and Android 11. Additionally, Nintendo mentioned that feature improvements and bug fixes have been implemented.

Nintendo Switch Parental Controls is available on mobile devices.

Shiren the Wanderer: The Tower of Fortune and the Dice of Fate is getting a new release on Switch to close out 2020. Though there will only be a digital release in North America and Europe, Japan is confirmed to be receiving a physical version.

Play-Asia has now opened pre-orders for imports here. English support is already been confirmed, so you should be able to play the game without any issues regardless of your region. You’ll also get a special illustrated box and a 60-page booklet.

Shiren the Wanderer: The Tower of Fortune and the Dice of Fate launches on December 2 in the west. Japan’s physical version releases on December 3.

Defentron

The 3D tower defense game Defentron will be appearing on Switch next month, according to an eShop listing. A release is planned for December 17.

More Dark

The puzzle-platformer More Dark will release on Switch this week, publisher Ratalakia Games and developer HugePixel announced today. It will be available digitally on November 27.
