Today, Atlus released a new 1.02 update for Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne HD Remaster in Japan. It comes with bug fixes and improvements, but also new features – specifically “skill shuffle” and skill inheritance.

Inti Creates has prepared a second introduction trailer for Gal Gun Returns, its upcoming shooting game / dating sim for Switch. View it below.
Gal Gun Returns is planned for January 28, 2021 in Japan and Asia. North America and Europe are getting the game on February 12.

Nintendo released the new 10.1.0 update for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate a short while ago. It contains full support for Sephiroth (including spirits), the new Mii Fighter costumes, and latest round of fighter adjustments.

Nintendo is now offering the 2020 Switch Year in Review. It shows a whole bunch of stats over the past twelve months, including your most-played games, total hours played, and more. You can even get a rough idea of the amount of titles you’ve played starring Super Mario.

Super Mario Bros. 35 – new Special Battle event announced for December 25

Nintendo is ending 2020 with a new Special Battle for Super Mario Bros. 35. Players will be able to take on every course from the original Super Mario Bros. in order of appearance. That means 1-1 through 8-4 will all be present.
The new Special Battle goes live on December 25. It will last until December 28.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate update out now (version 10.1.0)

Original: Super Smash Bros. Ultimate has been updated to version 10.1.0. While last week’s patch added initial functionality for the Sephiroth DLC, today’s update supports the latest round of Mii Fighter costumes and includes fighter adjustments. We’re currently waiting on the full patch notes from Nintendo.
To access the update, go to the Switch home menu, select the icon without starting the game, press the + or – button on your controller, choose “Software Update”, and finally “Via the Internet”. It will also download automatically if you have automatic updates turned on in system settings.
Fight’N Rage getting a physical release

The old-school side-scroller beat’em up game Fight’N Rage, which was previously offered on Switch as an eShop title, is now getting a physical release. Limited Run Games announced plans to produce the boxed version today.
It looks like it’ll be a standard release with no limited edition. However, all copies will include the original soundtrack with digital music transcription books and three sticker sheets.
Pre-orders open on January 1, 2021. Limited Run Games will be taking pre-orders through its website.
