Nintendo has responded to user reports that their Nintendo Accounts have been accessed without consent.

In a statement, the company said that it is “investigating” the situation. Nintendo also recommends users enable 2-step verification.

The full statement reads:

Back in 1998, Psygnosis and FDI released the action-adventure game O.D.T.: Escape or Die Trying. It was also planned for the N64 at one point, but that version never materialized.

More than two decades later, Piko Interactive has announced that it has acquired the rights to O.D.T.: Escape or Die Trying. Interestingly, that also includes the unreleased N64 version.

Piko hasn’t said what exactly it intends to do with the game moving forward. However, restoring the N64 version is certainly one possibility. Last year, the company restored the N64 edition of 40 Winks, a platformer which was cancelled at the last minute for Nintendo’s old console in 1999.

Thanks to Vitas V for the tip.

OctoBox Interactive originally hoped to release its strategy game Auto Chess: Heroes of Paragon last month. Following a delay, it’ll now launch this week – and with a new name to boot.

Due to legal reasons, the title is now being called MetaChampions. The free-to-play title is due out digitally on April 22.

Here’s some information about MetaChampions, along with a trailer:

Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2

It’s time for the latest Famitsu’s most wanted games chart. This week, Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 moves up another spot to #2 while Bayonetta 3 and Shin Megami Tensei V are in the top five. Also, Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition is in the top ten for the first time.

Head past the break for the full chart. All votes were cast between April 2 and April 8.

Dragon Marked for Death

Dragon Marked for Death version 3.0.0 will not launch this coming week as originally expected. Inti Creates is delaying its release, the company announced. Inti Creates has been impacted by having to work out of the office due to the coronavirus.

Dragon Marked for Death version 3.0.0 features the Oracle and the Bandit as new playable characters. Other new features are coming as well such as brand new weapon categories, powering up weapons as a whole, increased level caps, and more.

A new update is now live for Nintendo Switch Parental Controls – at least on iOS. The app is now at version 1.12.0.

According to Nintendo, today’s update includes support for iOS 13. Other than that, bug fixes have been implemented.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons

Animal Crossing: New Horizons datamining has already led to the finding of what appears to be the steps for upgrading Nook’s Cranny. Ninji, who made that original discovery, today shared another batch of interesting information pertaining to the Switch title.

Ninji has been poking through the files and code for Animal Crossing: New Horizons, which may hint at some upcoming features. We’ve rounded up the various tidbits below. Of course, if you’re not interested in potentially being spoiled in any way, keep that in mind before proceeding.

Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon and the Blade of Light is celebrating its 30th anniversary today. In honor of the occasion, a treat is now available for Nintendo Switch Online members in Japan.

The Famicom app has updated with a pair of special versions for the game. In the first one, the action picks up right as players are about to trigger a Triangle Attack with Palla, Catria, and Est. The second one begins at the endgame chapter, where Marth must battle Medeus to save the day.

Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon and the Blade of Light never came out in the west, so these bonuses and the game itself aren’t available in North America or Europe. However, if you create a Japanese Nintendo Account and download the Famicom app, you should be able to access them – just without any English.

Unravel Two is currently available on Switch via the eShop. The same can’t be said of the series’ first entry, but perhaps that could be changing soon.

Over in Brazil, Unravel 1 was recently rated for Switch. The classification was just added to the official database on April 17. The only slightly confusing part of the rating is that PS4, Xbox One, and PC are also included from this same day despite being available on all three platforms since 2016.

Here’s an overview of Unravel, along with a trailer:

A number of new deals are up and running on the North American Switch eShop. These include Cuphead, Disney Classic Games: Aladdin and the Lion King, Friday the 13th: The Game Ultimate Slasher Edition, the Guacamelee titles, Monster Boy, Picross releases, and more.
