Shuji Utsumi, CEO of SEGA America and SEGA Europe as well as the COO and president of SEGA Corporation, has commented on the success of Nintendo Switch – which took him by surprise.

Back in 2017, Nintendo had a lot to overcome. There were plenty of doubts surrounding the console after Wii U turned out to be a failure. Support from third-parties was initially slow with many waiting to see how things would play out.


Phantom Breaker Battle Grounds Ultimate Kaho Shibuya DLC

Today, Rocket Panda Games unveiled Kaho Shibuya as a new DLC character for Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds Ultimate. Currently we don’t have information about launch timing.

The DLC character is based on the real-life Japanese pop culture personality and cosplayer.

Rocket Panda Games provided the following details about the DLC:

Nintendo released a new video today showcasing a few European digital game highlights from June 2025. Some of the highlighted titles include Mario Kart World, Cyberpunk 2077, and Fast Fusion.

Neon Noodles

Today, Eastasiasoft and Vivid Helix announced a new Nintendo Switch version of Neon Noodles. The title is due out on July 16, 2025.

Neon Noodles is a cyberpunk kitchen automation puzzler. You’ll create, test and optimize your culinary machines as a recipe programming technician for a ruthless aristocracy.

WWE 2K25 Nintendo Switch 2

WWE 2K25 has been officially revealed for Nintendo Switch 2, and it’s probably coming sooner than you thought. According to a listing on the Nintendo eShop, it’s slated for July 23, 2025.

We’ve technically known that WWE was bound for the console following a Nintendo Direct in April. 2K said the franchise would be appearing on the new platform – but did not provide any further information at the time.

Fans will be able to choose between the following versions:

Donkey Kong Bananza developer

After plenty of speculation, Nintendo has finally confirmed the developer of Donkey Kong Bananza.

According to the company, the project is being made by the same developers as Super Mario Odyssey. However, no further details has been provided. Many had assumed this to be the case, but it’s nice to have an official confirmation.

Quit Today

Today, publisher Justdan and developer Yohcan announced that they’re bringing Quit Today to Nintendo Switch. A release is planned for October 22, 2025.

Quit Today is a side-scrolling beat ’em up game. Everything takes place at a standard company where you’ll look to fight against your colleagues who claim that you’re going to resign.

System Shock 2 25th Anniversary Remaster release date

March 20: System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster just announced its final release date. For players on Nintendo Switch and elsewhere, the game launches on June 26, 2025.

We only just found out that System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster would be released on Nintendo Switch last month. The 1999 classic sci-fi horror action will now be returning with extra bells and whistles very soon.

Monolith Soft reported its latest financial results for the fiscal year ending March 2025, revealing that the company has seen a 19 percent profit increase.

According to the company, it achieved profits of 487 million yen during the previous fiscal year. To compare, profits came in at 409 million yen in the year prior.

Full Metal Schoolgirl

D3Publisher, along with Yukes, today unveiled Full Metal Schoolgirl for Nintendo Switch 2. A release is planned for October 23, 2025.

Full Metal Schoolgirl is an action shooting game. Playing as one of two heroines, you’ll look to fight back against the Meternal Jobz corporation.
