Play-Asia has opened exclusive pre-orders for Distraint Collection. This is the physical version of Distrant and Distraint 2, a pair of psychological horror games for Switch.

As previously mentioned, Play-Asia has standard and limited edition copies available. The latter version includes:

Nikkei has an interesting article up all about Nintendo designer Shigeru Miyamoto. It touches on some interesting topics, including Mario and the challenge of taking on Disney.

As far as Mario is concerned, Nikkei relays that Miyamoto’s “creative direction has been changing.” Whereas in the past he attempted to “maintain a certain consistency,” he’s now trying “to avoid casting Mario too rigidly, giving him freedom to explore different character scenarios.” Miyamoto noted that he’s “become more interested in creating greater opportunities for a larger audience to enjoy” the franchise.

Breathing Fear

The survival adventure game Breathing Fear will be appearing on Switch next month, according to an eShop listing. Drageous Games will publish the title on December 6.

Earlier this week, Famitsu reported that Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield sold 1.365 million copies in Japan in just a few days. Dengeki has now shared its own figure of 1.357 million units.

Unlike Famitsu, Dengeki also provides a more comprehensive breakdown of sales. Pokemon Sword was the more popular version at 499,753 copies sold. Pokemon Shield sold 347,629 units. Then with the Double Pack, that’s another 254,612 units (counted twice for both versions).

A new Frozen II collaboration has joined Minecraft. Available through Minecraft Marketplace, players can access mini-games, complete puzzles, and decorate the castle. Well-known characters such as Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, and Olaf are included.

Lost Ember

Lost Ember, an animal switching adventure coming to Switch, has received a new trailer. Take a look at the video below.
