Two more summoning events are back in Fire Emblem Heroes. Summoning Focus: Weekly Revival 10, which features 5-star Heroes who appeared before the start of Book II, and the 24-hour Heroes with Distant Def are currently available.

It’s also been announced that the new event Lost Lore is starting soon. Players will send Heroes to scout out other worlds and wait for them to recover lore for the Heroes’ Saga, a collection of tales about Heroes in the Fire Emblem series.

During one of Famitsu’s latest live streams, two more Arcade Archives games were revealed for Switch. Pinball (which may release as VS. Pinball) and Water Ski are both on the way.

Pinball first debuted in Japan in 1984, and was created by Nintendo. Aside from traditional pinball, a separate mode is included in which you play as Mario carrying a platform and attempt to rescue Pauline.

As for Water Ski, this one was made by Taito in 1983. The objective is to control the vehicle and progress by avoiding rocks.

NIS America held one of its latest live streams this week, and showed off a ton of footage from the English build of Destiny Connect. We have the full recording below.

Licensed video games tend to have a negative perception. But this is a stigma Outright Games is looking to change, according to the company’s Nick Button-Brown.

Speaking with GamesIndustry, Button-Brown mentioned:

Bandai Namco has released a new DonKatsu Fight mode for Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum ‘n’ Fun.

In it, players are pitted against each other in a one-on-one fight. The objective is to knock down your opponent’s HP by using power-ups. The mode supports local multiplayer as well as CPU versus.

Nintendo intends to release a pair of green Switch Joy-Con, a listing on Best Buy reveals. It will supposedly be exclusive to the retailer in the United States.

Pokemon logo

In License Global’s latest issue, the magazine has a report on merchandise sales for 2018. The Pokemon Company placed in the 23rd position having generated $2.98 billion.

License Global attributes a variety of aspects to Pokemon’s success, including the still-popular Pokemon GO and Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu / Eevee. The Detective Pikachu movie, card game, anime, toys, and even fashion collaborations contributed as well.

Nihon Falcom president Toshihiro Kondo has previously stated that it would be difficult to bring its games to Switch due to a lack of experience with the system and having to focus on its fan base that lies with PlayStation platforms. However, other companies stepping in to port its games are very much a possibility. We did see an example of this when Nippon Ichi Software handled Ys VIII for Switch.

Although it’s unclear what to expect from Falcom going forward, Kondo did share an encouraging comment with DualShockers. When asked about the possibility of additional Switch ports, he said:

Fire Emblem: Three Houses

Right around Fire Emblem: Three Houses’ launch, we learned that a new, even harder difficulty mode would be added to the game. The details surrounding it haven’t been officially shared, but thanks to the efforts of dataminer DeathChaos25, we have some earlier information.
